To Wax or IPL Laser Pubic Hair

November 14 2019

Hi all, Female of the couple who has either shaved or waxed in the past and has been giving some consideration to IPL laser of the the pubic hair. I have waxed a few times in the past, but lets face it. That hurts! I have also heard of some horror stories with IPL laser with scabs after the first treatment, being burnt, skin pigmentation issues after, etc. Has anyone had any bad or not so good experiences with laser down there? Do you know why it was caused and would you recommend doing it. I am naturally light in that area, so I thinking it wont take to many visits, but I am just a little deterred at the moment with some of the stories I have heard with laser. Obviously you get what you pay for and I am not talking about going to some backyard establishment, lol. I would love to hear from you all about your experiences as well as some pro's and cons from your own experience.

I would love to be able to get it done, but as a redhead unfortunately they can’t. Have to stick with the waxing

Why don't you try Veet. Pain free and your hair is gone in 10min. Buy it at your local Coles or Woolies. My partner and use it and works a treat.

I had laser hair removal about six years ago . I’ve never regretted it . I did spend a lot of my on the initial five consultations - spread over a 12 month period . I would definitely suggest going somewhere reputable . My first consultation was free to see if I was a suitable candidate .It’s not as uncomfortable as having waxing . If you feel discomfort the person doing it has it on too high . I’ve never had blistering or discomfort afterward. No more expense and wasting time getting waxing . I would recommend it highly .

Have had several IPL sessions and it's working well for me. But as mentioned above hair colour contributes.

We both being doing laser for a couple of years (yes, the hair does grow back, but much less). Bit of a zing during the session but no I'll after effects. PS be nice to the laser person. They can turn it up to give more than a little zing ;-0

I’ve been doing laser treatments for a couple of years now and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made! I don’t have a lot of body hair as it is but I hated having pubic hair. One thing I don’t miss is the ingrown hair from waxing or shaving. The laser treatments only feel like a rubber band is slapping against your skin or a sunburn afterwards. I highly recommend doing it!

Mrs Luvsilver had laser many years ago.The results have been amazing.Smooth as glass and as Kittyzkatz mentioned- no more ingrown hairs. She has been back a couple of times for spot treatment but the results are excellent. Her hair is very dark which i believe the laser works better on. Do it before you get grey hairs. Although l didn't do all the pubic, just lowered it, l did my whole body. Amazing except for grey patches

I'll second what Annie said! Mr here, I've had my upper body and butt done, amazing results except for the grey chest hairs. I was quite a hairy beast and it's been ultra effective. Dark hair and light complextion is the perfect mix for a good result. Try and get feedback on who you actually see, the right operator makes a huge difference. It took me the first five to find someone decent, I'm glad I didn't give up though! I noticed the OP is blonde, not sure what the results would be like? Do it for yourself, not others! Did great things for my self confidence when joining the lifestyle. Also made sunburn creaming up a lot easier down the nude beach😬

IPL Works great depending on hair colour. I've had no issues though I did discover there are different types of machines. The first place I had been going to for a couple of years used a gel on the skin but they closed so I had to find somewhere new to go and not all places will treat men down there. The new place does it dry and you definitely feel it more. Very happy with the results.

Hi, I was lasered about 8 years ago. I got my legs, armpits and Brazilian done. While it was expensive at the time it has been one of the best things I have done ever! I only need one visit a year now for maintenance on my armpits. My legs and pussy are totally free of regrowth. There was very limited pain and I would compare it with a light flicking of a rubber band. The only negative was getting my anus (the Hollywood Brazilian!) lasered as it was wasn't my finest hour laying there naked with my legs back over my head while the beautician lasered away. Thankfully that only needed 3 visits. It is so convenient not having to shave or wax, especially before a play night, which can leave you a bit tender. No ingrown hairs. John has had his chest and stomach done and we want to get his pubes lasered too.
