Too good not to share - the birds and the bees

January 09 2015

I read this on an online news service today, and thought it was rather cool. Not going to link an external movie, but if you go to Youtube and search for ... Parents Talk to Their Kids About The Birds and the Bees for the First Time DG

No one wants to know about their parents sexual proclivities, even as young as some of those kids are. The parents are just as uncomfortable as the kids 😁 Very recently our 18 year old son discovered we are swingers, try explaining that amongst the bouts of confusion, anger, disappointment and resentment. I'd rather be explaining about the birds and the bees. Mary xx

My parents never told me about the birds and the bees, but my mother did tell me about my periods when I was about 9. I remember reacting like some of those kids. Eww you are making me sick, that is gross, stop talking. I can laugh about it now......................

was the book my Mum gave me and my younger sister, by the time the next 2 sisters were old enough, they got the VHS. My 11 yo, in the last term of school, was quite proud of the fact he had Sex Ed at school. He usually brings things up with me quite comfortably so I don't worry too much about what he knows and what he doesn't. I am sure he has a pretty broad knowledge for a kid his age with a mum who works in an adult shop and 2 already adult brothers, you could imagine some of the conversations we have. It is quite enlightening dinner table conversation when he tell us that he knows he doesn't have herpes! Thank god for that, haha. Another time he told me he was horny instead of hungry, lol.
