Watersports, not Jetski or surfing but piss play

I have often wondered when I look at people profiles and I come to the fetish list. I love to see the tick on water sport. I'm often quick to respond to these people because it's a fetish of mine. I don't always play like that only with initiated people and people who enjoys it. But I believe that a lot people think that it means water sports as in surfing, jet skiing, kayaking or similar. This became very clear when I wrote to a person and asked about their fetish water sport. Wow! How could I get it so wrong that they were suppose to be into peeing on people, where had I got this crazy idea. I simply replied that it said in your profile under fetishes. Have you guys experienced anything similar.

I am not into watersports myself but the term does indeed sound like it should be referred to at least playing in water rather than pissing. Urine is not water so why exactly it is referred to as such is a bit confusing. It seems like the term would be better used for activities such as sex in the shower, spa, beach, river, under the hose in the back yard, when you set the fire alarm of at work and the sprinklers go off...etc. Even without the term 'water' It doesn't seem much like a 'sport' either unless you are chasing someone around trying to pee on them or vice versa!

When I first joined I asked a friend if he could shed some light on all the fetishes. It left me feeling like I was very vanilla lol and no fetish boxes were ticked. But yes it seems that watersports seems to be very misunderstood. A few reply to messages from seemingly nice guys were met with "What do you mean?....I'm a bit kinky for you!" Golden showers may be unambiguous but it is only really a subset of watersports. There's also watching each other pee, drinking (from the source or from a glass, bladder control, making someone pee themselves and I'm sure many other aspects for the real aficionados. Only dabbled myself so don't know the whole spectrum of play. It's under fetishes so I guess it may make some people who think its playing in the spa think twice. Perhaps RHP could have an expanded explaination of the fetish pop up when you hover over it or click on it? Mind you it's hardly a very expansive fetish list. Haven't experienced any confusion over water sports but it's not something we are into so it's not like it ever really comes up. Can see how some people may not quite comprehend what it entails in a sexual/fetish sense and therefore take it as the more widely known, mainstream sense of water based sports. Somewhere in the customer support section of the site there is a way to send suggestions into the RHP. Perhaps a few people need to send in a suggestion to change it to something a bit more clear cut like "golden shower," or believe urolagnia is the word for gaining sexual pleasure from urine/urination?

An old boss, a raver from way back, used to tell be stories about his glory days and the messed up things he used to see in sydney. One story that stuck was "trough boy", a guy that would go to a club, lay down in the trough and pretend to be passed out.
