I'm actually 7'6", but I didn't think most would believe it, so I had to bring it down to a more respectable 6'2".lol

There are so many other and better things to lie about on RHP before getting into height! I wouldn't have thought most men would be able to determine a woman's true height in any event! (Or indeed give a stuff as long as the important bits are there in between!). Big difference when it comes to guys though I believe! XX Obi1

men or women lie about their height, but being a short arse, most are taller than me anyway and I don't care too much to notice.

There is anecdotal evidence that some numbers go up, like penis size and now hight, and some evidence of numbers going down like age and weight. To quote Lewis Carroll "The question is," said Alice, "whether you can make words mean so many different things." "The question is," said Humpty Dumpty, "which is to be master—that's all."

Not all men but there are some.I have to admit that it really does matter to me. It is the first thing I look at on a profile and if they are shorter than me I don't look any further. No matter how attractive they are.I just prefer taller men and always have. It is disappointing to meet up with someone and find they have lied on their profile.I will never understand why people (men or women) do this if they are serious about meeting.

I am 5'9 and like to wear high heels , height is a biggie for me. Apparently 6 foot is like 8 inches on red hot pie - do they hand out dodgy rulers when you first join? - Posted from rhpmobile

because I am short, 5'4" and no issues about it. I prefer to meet men taller than I am because i like to wear my high heels when I go out. so someone 5'8" and above would be nice. But I will take somebody with great personality of just average height than somebody tall with a personality of a door nail any time of the day. I met a couple of men recently who 'misstated' their height on their profile. One young guy had his profile as 6'0 and one more mature guy also wrote down 6'0. Now the first was really 5'7" or 5'8 tops and the second was about 5'9 to 5'10 (and very fit sexy man), They are both gorgeous me with great personalities. I don't know why that they would put they are taller than they are. I had a great time with both as they are very nice, kind, with great manners and funny. In the end, it really did not matter about their 'misstatement'. I am still in touch with both.

Many moons ago, 6'0" was seen as an 'aspirational' height for men, and in many cases it became a case of 'close enough is good enough' - hence why those two may have added some 'personality' to their stated measurement. I was asking about the women. I read a comment from a poster yesterday, which had me wondering.

I'm the same height as you and love wearing heels, so am easily 6ft on a date. I'm wondering if any tall women minimise their height slightly. Mlle Velvet is 6'1 for example, which I find the height of sexiness, but it may intimidate some men. And all you short gals, do you ever add and inch, for example if you're meeting a tall guy?

It does seem like a weird thing to lie about but I guess some do. And another whoops.....I just checked my own profile and I had the wrong height on there. It wasn't done to lie, but was a genuine mistake. SorryI think I am either 166 or 168cm.Not sure really. I will have to find someone to measure me

I dont….I don't see the point haha..I am going to be standing next to them , in heels, and hopefully without :) I seriously do not understand lying about your height or weight etc…age I get…..but the other two..you can't fake them….they are what they are ……it's not like I ( or anyone) is going to rock up to a date and say " ohh well he/she is much shorter than they said, much heavier than they said, i'll fuck em' anyway"

I'm with Lilly on this, I'm short, adding inches won't fool anyone 😢. Even though in my dreams I want to be as tall as Meander and Delicious. I hadn't thought about height requirements before but I wouldn't want anyone shorter than me 😳 Mary xx

But it's the only average thing about me! ;) I've had a couple of girlfriends who were taller than me, but my preference is definitely for the height differential working the other way. This isn't a matter if feeling intimidated though, everything just seems to work better that way around. I'm largely talking about sex here, of course - Posted from rhpmobile

I am 5 foot 2 if you are lucky and have a thing for tall guys. But when I have had guys show up and they are my height it is disappointing. False advertising. Same as old photos and saying you are athletic when clearly you are not. You are what you are. Why the need to lie? - Posted from rhpmobile

Honesty doesn't work (but fuk it I'm sticking with it) there wld be as many females that lie as males then you have the couples :) but like the judgmental picture hunters ! Nothing really matters until you meet and make your own real judgement :)

Im 5 ft 3, and never add inches, why would I? I like being small, it doesnt seem to put anyone off that I have been chatting to. I dont have a preference, short or tall, its the personality that counts for me.

I'm a short arse and proud of it!! I find myself standing on tippy toes whenever kissing or hugging a man even if I don't need to!! It's just second nature! No would never lie about, not something you could hide when it came to the crunch! So yes my legs go all the way to my bum...it's just a quicker journey than some !! - Posted from rhpmobile

So those that actually answered the question either couldn't care less or wouldn't lie. I agree, I love my height! I posted this forum after reading a comment, and thinking I'd never seen a forum about this question before. To be honest, I didn't actually remember starting this thread until I saw it the next morning, I was a teensie weensie bit drunk. Thanks All!

At 5 ft 3" (although my last bloody medical put me at 5 ft 2" so I dispute that) I think every guy I have met is taller than me. I too have to wear heels just so I'm not staring them in the navel! However, height makes no difference to me in the bedroom ;-) No need to hide it guys, one way or another we'll get to see for ourselves. xx

Quoting 'Meander' And all you short gals, do you ever add and inch, for example if you're meeting a tall guy? I'm 160cm, or 5'3". Call me Shortie I like my men taller than me and most guys are anyway and that's how I like it. No need to lie. I do empathise for the taller women sometimes. We shorties can add inches to our height with heels, but how does a tall woman make herself shorter? My 17 year old niece is already taller than the average male and she wishes she'd stop growing. Poor girl But you tall ladies have legs to the moon, which I envy

If women would get jealous of a man wearing heels bigger than hers?? I don't need to lie about my height as I understand that I'm not attractive to ALL and for whatever the reason that's their business - and be honest I don't want to. But.... I AM attractive to some, just the way I am. Without me doing anything other than being me.... - Posted from rhpmobile

The importance placed on the man being taller... Meh, some decidedly unsexy taller men out there and some super hot shorter guys... I've never adjusted my heel height to cater to someone's perception of how I should look when out with a man. I used to go out with a shorter guy (about 5'9") and he lurved it when I turned up in heels and was taller than him. It's sort of cool being the sexy amazon sometimes. As long as he's confident and happy as he is, I'm good with whatever height a man might be. And no I haven't lied about my height. Ever.

I am at 183cm or 6ft in old language. Its deceptive when you see someone in heels, some ladies need to throw their arms out and swing all over the place to even walk at a decent pace and it looks slightly ungainly. Not an issue dont mind heels but be sensible about it, yes you may be vertically challenged but dont put your legs in danger of doing a tendon or ankle or heaven forbid break a bone to get taller not worth it.What amazes me sometimes ladies forget to take shoes off before measuring height as its the norm for them to be in heels most of the time and I have been shocked when I have met them in flats or barefeet, as in youve shrunk and I am going to get a crook neck. Or maybe Im getting old and writing gibberish again!! Like age height does not matter although in my eyes the most perfect shaped women with curves and things in the right place are around about the 5.0ft to 5.6 mark exiting now.

I've noticed that tall woman particularly enjoy being my being able to lift them up carry them etc ( gently). They say it makes them feel feminine and petite. So I guess over stating your size would disappoint them.

Aust average for according to ABS in 2012 was - men 175.6 cm, 5'9'', women 161.8 cm, just under 5'4'' At 5'6'' and 45 years old, I'm used to being short. Hasn't stopped me dating ladies shorter and taller than me, heels or not. I'm not going to get any taller, so it's not something I waste my time worrying about. If there is a problem it's only in the mind of the other person, doesn't change who I am.

When I started out on RHP , I had to create my Profile and there were all these requirements to measure myself . I'd never measured my dick before and wasn't interested in doing so . In regards to height , I just entered the measurement I remembered from the last time someone measured me ( I was 17 ). Well , I met a Lady from here and she immediately commented on the fact that I had misrepresented my height . Turns out I'm a couple of inches shorter . Somewhere between 17 and 41 I had shrunk ! I had made an honest mistake . Apparently some people are very particular about height requirements. I can understand that a couple of inches on a dick can make all the difference but I can't see how a couple of inches in height can be so important. So sad to think that some people will reject you if you're not taller than them . But that's their loss ... & when you're Horizontal, height is just an illusion ;) Footnote: I've never been rejected because of my height. GG♒️ - Posted from rhpmobile

I fudge various personal details slightly, for anonymity. My height is close though. I've always felt oh so average and either wanted to be supermodel tall or elfin short. More recently I was in a relationship with a man who loved cute little female packages. Given I'm built like a behemoth and taller than 'cute' I have, since then, leant towards wanting to be shorter. I love my heels though, and I can't resist wearing them - even though I do sometimes feel like an Amazonian behemoth in them. - Posted from rhpmobile

I would love few more centimeters added to my height.. As it is I have to rely on gladiator heels to push me up to the 5ft 8 I'd love to be instead of 5 ft 3.5... And I jealously guard that .5cm I can tell you now! !!

I always knew I was well above average. But it CAN make a difference laying down. One lovely lady I recall was 6'5". Having her lay her back against my chest, and my hands roaming her entire body, it was more of a stretch to reach her tingly parts and her thighs. And Mr Chaucer - your last sentence sums up the attitude of a confident man. DG

I'm 5'8", I was knocked back (nicely) yesterday by a lady I seemed very compatible with, bar height. My son is a throw back, he's 6'3", 80kgs of solid muscle, he was always tall, socially he seems to do very well, I tried to bring him up with confidence in himself and got him chatting to chicks at 13, I didn't want him to make the same mistakes I did. The only time I worry about height is if the lady is concerned. Cheers P.L.

For a very long time I noted my height as 6ft on previous sites even though I was slightly under....I just didn't feel the need to say I was 5'11.75" :P As it turns out I hadn't measured myself in years and recently realised I am now 6'1! I would assume it would be men that would be dishonest about their height if anything...I don't see a need for women to be?
