What Makes You Want to Reply to a Forum Post?

April 14 2014

What posts do you find yourself replying to or looking for? Do you go to a certain section? Is it the ones about sex that attract you? Ones that look like they could be funny and quirky? How about the ones where someone is asking for help and it looks like you could give some good advice on this topic? Is there anything that makes you avoid reading the post and the replies? I like to check recent posts and active posts that are at the top of the screen first and then head to Hot Topics to check out what's new. I skim over most of the sections, but as I'm usually fairly tired by the time I get in here, I tend to be put off by a post which has a lot of replies. Although, I might overlook the number of replies if it looks like a really good topic and if it's something I've posted, I try my best to pop in and reply every now again. How about you?

There's that word again....fun....I like to get involved in forums that are fun and quirky and are a little bit lighthearted. They help to break the monotony of the day...and who doesn't enjoy a laugh. I also like the clever wit that some people display and am quite happy mostly to read and stay out of the sandpit. I don't enjoy the " whats wrong with me or my profile"types of posts or the posts that seem to be taken completely out of context and hi-jacked into something other than they started out.Mr.J.

probably depends on my mood. Sometimes I like to read rather than post, sometimes I have an attitude and an opinion, lol, sometimes I am a funny bitch. I tend to avoid long posts, I like them short and sharp although I can be a bit guilty of rambling sometimes.

I would drive Tara nuts. (she is gorgeous, I can't help myself, we can't have sex all day and night) So I occasionally post something in a shy sort of way, it's just my nature. Mado Mado Tara xx

Just looking at the size of my post up there, I realised I'm not to read really long posts but I can really ramble on for ages, can't I. - Posted from rhpmobile

It's my curiousity about these exact sort of questions that led me into the forums Lilmiss. As much as anyone might deny that the forums are the internet and have nothing to do with the real world, I disagree considering how many of know each other personally or know someone who knows someone personally etc. .It used to be that I was such an addict I read every topic and every reply, made easy by the orginal set up that actually used to show us as new topics and pasts arrived AND who they were by, we didn't have the home stream then. But I have found with the new set up that my level of fascination has dropped off over the last couple of years. I think I've gotten most of the answers I was looking for and now I find I'm more introspective. And those tend to be the topics I follow, even if I don't end up sharing my thoughts. I've found the forums to be a good tool for putting together my past, remembering forgotten incidents and getting a new perspective on all my memories. It's been really tough at times but I've learned a lot and I appreciate that..It's always been a thing of mine to try to answer questions about the RHP site, sex has been part of my life as long as I can remember and I feel some sense of belonging here, so I invested a lot of time getting to know the place lol, to be able to share that to help people is rewarding considering the confusion. I like to pop in random thoughts a now n then but they're often askew of the OP. .I've gotten terrible at even posting on my own threads lately, I have a surge of interest in putting myself out there and then I find I just enjoy following along. . I do have favourite posters, people who tend to post topics that interest me whether I post on their threads or just follow them. I almost never use the follow topic button though, and I follow very few posters (through the Hot List for those not in the know) usually those who don't post too often and have a different point of view. My preferences there can change a lot too. :-).Off topics is my fav haunt these days followed up by hot topics, I look at the titles of the top 3 in Girl's and Guy's Ask and Couple's Corner but don't always bother going in because what it says on the outside doesn't usually mean much..Oh, and I almost completely avoid SWB because it's a fallacy..I drop into the Chillout Lounge now and then but with only one ever active topic on the one day of the week... yawwwnnn... . So there you go, that's the most I've had to say lately and they're thoughts I've wanted to share for a while, thanks. Cheers Peachy... who thinks the weekend can't arrive soon enough!!!

I reply as a thinly veiled guise to hide the fact that I just want to refer to how enormous my penis is, how much stamina I have, how I just luuuuuuuuuv to give pleasure, use phrases like "he he", .... oh, and to laugh about life because I don't take it all so seriously and entertain the hell out of myself :D - Posted from rhpmobile

what type of mood I am in...a reading mood, where I just want to read forums or in the mood to post on the topic. I may log in and not reply to anything not even my emails then other times I will post something. Looong Forum posts do my head in..other times not. I like to read what others have posted to see their way of thinking. Sometimes it says a lot to me, other times not so. I have a look around and go "meh" then something may catch my eye. Foxy
