What are you listening to RIGHT NOW?

July 10 2015

I'm procrastinating. Let's post what we are listening to! Music, podcasts, whatever. Currently listening to a stream of a band I discovered from a friend called God Is An Astronaut. Really heavy, droney, sludgy, instrumental metal. Amazing stuff. - Posted from rhpmobile

Reviewing some of my own stuff right now. I have about 8-9 hours so need to pick out anything worth developing. I believe that we should all play, because that way you will always enjoy everything you hear. It never gets dull as you can modify it as your mood and listening needs change.

It's a new style that's come out of Europe about 2-3 years ago, not a lot of people know it exists & doesn't have a lot of YouTube views yet either; Deep & Dark Progressive. (If you don't like trance music- don't bother, it's simply too heavy for most- and just like all dance, you have to go through the crap to get to the good)

I have Hearts Like Ours by The Naked & Famous running on a loop in my head. It's driving me nuts! Might have to give Mr VWGolf's Deep & Dark Progressive a go to try and shake it off... sounds challenging :)

Seasons of Wither .... and thinking how much Steve Tyler's voice has changed immensely from then! Countrychic - hope you've got Garry Allan or at least Keith Urban in your collection? Ulysses - sorry, mate. Against the Hawks, Freo would have no hope on a warm day at home either! ;-) Just sayin'!!
