If there is one thing I am, it's passionate. I do have a sense for history, more recent though, mainly within the last century which I have been alive for more than half of, lol. I have a passion for knowledge, understanding and the truth. That ties in with my enjoyment of puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, making things work together if that makes sense. I passionate about waste I'm thinking as I remember I meant to give back the paper bags to the eatnow deliverer who just left. The environment, the terrible, horrific happenings in Australia have been devastating in so may ways. Australia matters to me. My local suburb. That'll do, Peachy

Life and loving it and living it... not just existing... About being strong - body mind and soul... About learning to be ok with me being me and that I don’t have to impress those who have no implication on my life but rather focus on those who do mean something to me. About fitness - it empowered me to make change in my life where it was most needed Books and reading although I never seem to have enough time but always ensure I have a new book or two or three on hand Being outside and in the fresh air just because we can Seeing beauty in where we live and not missing it because we are too busy to slow down to really see things About learning to receive - that it’s not selfish it’s ok to be a great giver and a receptive receiver My partner and children - that should be a given

I am going to learn to become passionate about stress relief and relaxation so as the stress I am currently suffering from doesn’t display itself in the physical manner it currently is... (thanks dr for the tip ;-) so obvious but I was so oblivious to it as well) - maybe that’s partly where those books I have ready to go can be utilised... Relaxing seems such a simple thing but I feel maybe something we take for granted in our busy world

We enjoy simple lives We are passionate about conservation of natural resources and being custodians of this planet that we all have to share, and as such have been actively involved in many environmental health issues. We are passionate about art, architecture, history, classical music, good food, gardening and exploring Australia the new country that we now call home .....all the things that we enjoy. We are passionate about conserving , restoring, recycling and re-purposing as opposed to throwing out and replacing. We are passionate about our children and our pet cats.

Fairness. The most annoying thing you could ever be passionate about because life’s not fair and greed runs the world. Have a lovely Friday 😉 P.S. hea2785 that was the worst attempt at a pickup line I’ve seen in forever, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry....

I have a passion for learning. Especially therapy and early education, however I love to read up and discuss many topics. There’s so many interesting things in this life. I’m looking to learn all about feng Shui in more depth over the coming months and complete my early education certification.

I am passionate about our elderly, I feel that above all others (with the possible exception of children) they are our society's most vulnerable. Society is done with them, their families are done with them, packed off to an aged ''care'' (an oxymoron in my eyes) facility, where they get to lay in their own piss and shit for hours, day upon day, week upon week. Offshore detention facilities are in the news daily for their lack of human rights, yet the same occurs here in our own country with our elderly citizens. They no longer have opinions or choices once they enter such facilities. They are dependent on others for their care, and frequently that care is simply not delivered. Having had a lot to do with aged care facilities over the years, I have sworn to my parents that they shall never enter one. I would say to those who ever contemplate packing their parent/s off to one - do not be fooled by flashy exteriors and elegant furniture, they are often (and I would say mostly) truly sub-standard in their level of care. As soon as they became a commercial venture (which most are), humans became a commodity. Savings must be made, budgets must be met, corners must be cut - mostly to do with staffing and thus the level of ''care'' received by their ''clients''. I have known a few nurses over the years that have worked for nursing homes, some tried to stick it out but most quit in a very short space of time. They would inevitably, and rather quickly, complain to management about the overwhelming workload due to extraordinary client/carer ratios that are simply not feasible - only to be told by managers that they have a monthly budget allocation for staff that is not to be exceeded. I welcome the recently announced royal commission into aged care and dearly hope it results in increased regulation of the aged care industry.

My life has been full of ups and downs but all experiences that have brought me to where I am today. Every day I wake up and thank God for my life. I think all living creatures have a right to life, I wont kill insects in the house and wont eat animals. Spending time with loved ones, family and friends. My other loves are art and music.

First time forum poster here I’m passionate about fitness. I think its an incredible method of instilling aspects of self discipline as well as being a great way to relieve stress and improve your health. I have a keen interest in respect. Treat others with kindness, its not that hard. I hate how prominent the inability to respect one anothers opinion without shoving yours down their throat is today. Finally I have an active desire to always strive for self improvement. I hate the idea of being stagnant and complacent. Whether that be in terms of education, fitness or even my relationships with others. Its important to be the best version of you

I wouldn't say I'm passionate more respecting them as I'm fueled by standing up for their rights and supporting them when I can. I will continue to strive to succeed in that, for as long as I can. It gives me a purpose as well as makes me happy and gives me fuzzy fuzzies knowing that I give a positive in the community rather than a negative. These are people in our community who are vulnerable and do get taken advantage of. I don't like that. I guess that's why I have been in the same job/role for over 20+yrs and am proud to part of the veterans community, groups and events. Ms Foxy

I’m passionate about young people in particular. Coaching and mentoring them to be the best version of themselves so they can create a positive future first and foremost and hopefully a positive impact on society. Having had a hard upbringing I know what it’s like to be surrounded by violence, poverty and a lack of opportunity but you have to believe in yourself, control the things you can, not worry about the things you can’t and make things happen to be a better you. It all starts with you.

I'm extremely passionate about a few things. Music: I adore music, and not just that of one genre. I have a passion for cooking, I love it and it's why it's my career I love being able to craft something delecate yet bold. Or being able to create a dish that can quite literally lift someones spirits and turn their day around. But my biggest passion is one not a whole lot of people can understand and it's the world of E-Sports. I love the fact that people can create a career out of something they loved as a child and I view eSports as another avenue for that. The passion, blood sweat and tears that goes into it, is in my mind and experience is just a amazing.

Peachy... As a quick response to a comment, I am passionate about sex at the times I have such person to be passionate about :) In general one's passions if they don't include work, often manifest on our days/time off. You would say my dog is a passion. They can manifest by what books you have, in which case my bookshelf is highly skewed towards reference, history, environment/animals and general non-fiction. They can be things you put a lot of effort and commitment and hope towards; in recent years mine has included songwriting. Also, I have been involved in various dance in the past, and lately I have been learning rock and roll. How passionate about that I remain will depend on my ability to continue and sustain it. As a single I am currently relying on someone else's wife to be my regular dance lesson partner (her own partner won't be attending because he's not a dancer kind of person lol). (Ok, I admit it, passion about sex can manifest a lot as masturbation haha).

I'm passionate about challenging myself. I run, a lot. Marathons, halves and spartan. I love pushing myself to my limits and pushing my mental capacity with it. It's improved my health and strengthened my mind. I'm the one who can't listen to music while I do it. My other if food, glorious beautiful food. Nothing beats a good feed. Chocolate and coffee. Just this week my job required me to inspect a shipment of chocolate . So I HAD to take it upon myself to inspect and sample to make sure everything was okay. Last night I had a beautiful beef brisket burger, the meat melted like butter.

Good topic I would say at the moment not much at all. I’m just not. I have some things that are pretty important to me such as keeping healthy, music, becoming less of a consumer, spiritual growth and learning to be happy alone, but I just seem on an even keel about it. This is a strange growth space I’m in, but I feel good about it .

Three Australians die from opioid use every day and 150 are hospitalised, and I'm not talking about injecting drug use. An Australian Institute of Health and Welfare report released in late 2018 showed more than three million Australians had an opioid prescription, while about 715,000 used pharmaceutical opioids for non-medical use between 2016-2017. In comparison, 40,000 Australians were using heroin during that same time. Opioid prescriptions are available under the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, with oxycodone, codeine and tramadol the most commonly prescribed. Sources: The Courier, NDARC, my job. Codeine-containing medications were made prescription only in February 2018, and as a result I've seen many more elderly clients who have been addicted to them for years seeking drug and alcohol treatment since then.Regular mums and dads and grandparents who suddenly found themselves unable to feed their 30 tablet of Nurofen Plus a day habit, and turned to illegal drugs. Or ended up in hospital gravely ill. Or both. Australia has a massive drug problem and it's not the ice and heroin users that are the main concern.

I am now passionate about drug free natural therapies.About six months ago I had a really bad fall, and developed excruciatingly painfully sciatica..I had to sleep in a chair because I couldn't lie down. My doctor prescribed tramadol which enabled me to be pain free.My daughter told me about a natural therapist who had helped not only her but a number of people that she knew, Since seeing her once every two months I have been pain and drug free.Unfortunately this treatment is not covered by Medicare only private health insurance. I am convinced if this kind of treatment was readily available to the demographic you are talking about this problem would rapidly decrease. Hugs Q

High five to everyone so far who mentioned history. We can't very well appreciate what we have now or preempt the future if we don't know how we got here. There's also a lot of forgotten knowledge in history, a lot of problems already solved, but it seems we have this problem of thinking but oh we live in modern times with all this great technology, we must be smarter than history... It's a shame really. But other than that, passionate about getting people excited about the possibilities humanity has to be the Masters of the universe...if only we could just remove our animal brains...
