What are your favourite bars in the GC?

Will be heading down to the coast in a few days for work and I’m looking for some new bars to explore - keen to hear your recommendations (I should also include that I’m not looking for nightclubs because I don’t do too well in extremely crowded places especially when I’m alone so the quieter it is, the better to kick back with a cold beer or 2)

Where do we start? In Broadbeach the Broadbeach Tavern or The Lucky Squire. In Surfers The Avenue, Steampunk, Waxys, Finn McCool's. The Grand Hotel at Labrador, Coolangatta Tavern, a few places at Hope Island.
