Gang of Youths -His voice gives me tingles everywhere Confidence Man - They are just fun and I like car dancing to them. Midnight Oil - ready for concert tomorrow😍 Woodford 2017 - I’m going, so listening to big Spotify playlist of all the artists that will be performing so I’m seeing who my faves are. Has new John Butler Trio on it who I’m also seeing with Oils. Yay Powderfinger Spotify playlists - I like the random ones they make for you based on your likes but also have had the Party In Your Living Room one on high rotation Rubi will you see Robert Plant when he tours? It’s tempting😊 - Posted from rhpmobile

Been working my back thru every album in the wake of his untimely and bloody unfortunate passing. So many hidden gems on every album waiting to be discovered or rediscovered. Particularly enjoying songs such as Room At The Top and Swingin'....in fact the whole Echo album is a cracker....Do yourself a favour.... what a legend. Vale Tom Petty.

Quoting 'boobs_or_bust' earth queen you got tickets 😳 what's happening with the guitarist that ripped his hammy I didn't get them straight up. I got my tix off FB after I had massive gig regret for not buying one. One of the benefits of looking for 1 tix is that they are usually easy to get even at last minute off either Facey or Gumtree. People can't go and then need to unload their ticket. Its a bit of a risk in case you get ripped off but I have good luck, its never happened to me. Scalpers suck ,I only pay slightly more or hopefully less than what people have paid for them because they need to get rid of a ticket. Also if you miss out on tix in first release they do sometimes release more later, usually at the last minute. They just did this in Wollongong and Sydney for Midnight Oil.Guitarist is still playing I think just in a chair.

Been listening to Fleetwood Mac as always, Stereophonics and clean bandit. Just recently came back from England and took in a few festivals and I saw both the phonics and clean bandit live. Also saw a whole host of other bands but I was pretty out of it to remember

Love soundcloud too but now mostly listen to Mixcloud, load up a 1-2 hour DJ mix and let it flow. DJ Dakini is my fave for chillstep / sacred bass, listening to some now :) Mr D - Posted from rhpmobile

I've begun listening to country. Eric Church, Keni Thomas, and others. Ditched Spotify, though, because it kept losing all the music I'd downloaded. Rebuilding my collection on Googlev Play Music instead. - Posted from rhpmobile

I only just recently discovered LCD Soundsystem and am rather hooked. Electronic rock with really impressive lyrics. Musings on modern life with a sound that drops into New Order (whom I love) territory from time to time. Arcade Fire's latest album is also pretty good, never bought into the hype of them in the past but they're turning out to be a band I'll delve more into. Also listening to the Blade Runner 2049 soundtrack, which is just a blissful ambient trip. I had to cut out the two Sinatra and one Elvis track though, they just fucked up the whole flow of the thing.

Quoting 'agent99' Chemical Brothers Maggie Rogers Clouds - Posted from rhpmobile Chemical Brothers, one of my favourite bands, if only they would just stop their career-long pattern of releasing an album of pure sonic bliss, followed by a crap one. For me this has been observable from their first album. I suspected their last (Born In The Echoes) was going to be less than good as it followed their previous (Further) which is one of their best. True to form, Born in The Echoes has great moments, but yet another disappointing offering. I still love listening to Exit Planet Dust, Surrender and Further, always playing them.

Quoting 'boobs_or_bust' how was the oils concert ,full report please ,gawd i'm jealous mr b - Posted from rhpmobile They were so good and awesome atmosphere outside in the Domain. They sounded amazing and great set list, a good mix of all their tunes. The only winge is they needed some speakers up the back to project the sound a bit more. I really wanted to hear King Of The Mountain and they played it so very happy.I've never seen so many 40+ year old men dance like Peter Garrett in my life ha ha. 4am finish up, all in all, a good one. Wish I could do it all again tonight.

Why people want to see Midnight Oil. Peter Garrett is a sell out and a hypocrite, I enjoyed them in the early days but now their music is an aural assault. Give me JJJ any day, how many great young women are getting air time on the J's? Middle Kids The Preatures Tired Lion Alex the Astronaut Alex Lahey Gordy Like a version is a great concept with some truly amazing renditions being offered up. Much as I like the old stuff I absofuknlutely love this 21 21st century music, especially Australian music.

IHeartRadio fills my needs at the moment. I used to listen to Pandora before they quit Australia 🇦🇺 otherwise there’s the cricket 🏏 and the flogging of the Poms and ABC Perth who have some good new music 🎶 I’ve always liked Aussie country music, jazz and singer songwriters. My latest “find” is Caro Emerald. Otherwise it’s my iTunes library that gets played, but random surprisingly chucks up the same old Choons! Funny that! M_D4 - Posted from rhpmobile

Muse, Glass Animals- doesn't matter which album, always a fun listen and the film clips are excellent Dillon Francis, LDRU, What so not, RUFUS- gets the blood pumping every time Then it all gets stuck in the past with all the greats (for me) like; Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Tool, System of a down, Soungarden, Rage against the machine etc etc etc with a whole lot of Queens of the Stone age, Them crooked vultures and anything rocky and hooky for that matter. Any music is better than no music! - Posted from rhpmobile
