Lots of people doing for me. 20 plus. No rules - so I can watch Enough single guys to make it interesting, just couples is fairly boring unless there are at least a few that a quite kinky. Personal preference is for bisexual men. Lots of them :)

Small parties are good to, it really depends on the mix of people. As long as there are not many restrictive rules, that is half the people will not swap or only do soft swaps etc.

Somewhere to tie people up and get for them a bit of a flogging is good.

OK apart from the people, of course.... Please have a dress code - thongs and stubbies just don't cut it......An environment which screams sophisticated yet seductive; people who mingle and chat (not sure on 'games' at a meet n greet but something like nuts and bolts could work we guess); Ensure there is enough space for everyone - no use having 20 people for an area which will fit 5 comfortably; oh make sure the single guys are well vetted and limit their numbers.... Beverages - definately no cask wine! :) Music - god the music needs to be great.... sorry but heavy thrash metal just doesn't have it's place at a swinger party! Finally, the hosts have a lot to do with a great party too - if they've made sure the theme / dress code is clear then it will mean the guests make an effort and also set the 'right' tone..... ooh hope that doesn't sound too preachy!!!

I went to my first ever party with my current partner 8 years ago. There were maybe 30 people there. What made it good for us was the fact the hosts took us around and introduced everyone to us individually. They provided home cooked pizzas and cocktails, and there were two larger play areas and one smaller more intimate area for the lucky few. There were lots of comfy places to sit (yes, this matters!) The party was very full on, cops arrived and were beckoned in, even the local gossip magazine wrote a section about the noisy sex house after that night. I still have good images in my mind from that night. Personally I like the intimacy of smaller get togethers but I'll never turn down an opportunity to watch xxx - Posted from rhpmobile

The OP mentions at the end that it regards "mingle events". So I assume that means a social meet and greet? If so some other things are not really applicable. - Posted from rhpmobile

I do believe the people make the party. We personally also liked themed events as it not only ensures people are dressed accordingly but it also gives people something to talk about to break the ice. Decent music helps, but all depends on the venue as to what else you need. Not cramming too many people into a small space, decent airconditioning and ample playrooms are also nice. And make it fun!!! People tend to take this whole swinging caper way too seriously sometimes. But once again all the planning in the world won’t help you if your guests aren’t engaging. While somebody may be the prettiest in the room if they are stand offish or unengaging then what’s the point of coming to a party?

Sorry missed that bit. So I’ll add music. Good music that encourages people to dance

I'm in the same boat, wanting to please so many people is hard to do. We're trying our best to make the Queensland Meet and Greet as welcoming as possible for everyone. There's quite a lot of people that have never attended an event and are new to the lifestyle. I'm hoping the more experienced people will assist us with making the newbies feel welcome. The venue was the hardest part. Wasn't as simple as ringing up a pub and booking a room for 120 swingers 😂. Finding somewhere that was not too small, not too big, not too expensive, not too young (as in nightclubby) was not fucking easy. We've booked a DJ for later in the night after everyone has had time to chat and have a few drinks. It's gets people mingling on the dancefloor. I have organised a small surprise gift for people to take home to remember the night by. And also having a small group of awesome helpers to assist during the night is a plus. So fingers crossed its going to be a great night but the people will definitely make or break it. Off topic of a mingle. Yes as many bi men as possible would be great 😈😂 ❤️ FF

For a mingle I think the key is to get everyone acquainted so do away with a venue that has large tables with seating as then people tend to stick to their table group and not socialise with others. We are working on a meet n greet at the moment and have a couple of venues in mind. Mingles also allow for a greater age disparity than a play party we’ve found, as less people are in “hunt mode” lol. As for other types of parties house parties have a different feel to those held at another premise and so different things apply. We tend to keep our house party numbers around the 30-40 mark if possible so people don’t feel left out and squashed when the spa and/or pool are in use. We also tend to leave these more casual. When we hire a venue we like to make it themed and like to see people put in an effort. For example our next event on June 23 is a Round the World theme whereby people are asked to dress in a countries sexy traditional clothing. It helps people chose what to wear and also gives them something to talk about. We are also working on a little something in theme to add a little spice to the night. We’ve hired a well known swingers venue and it won’t be open to the public on the night so we have the added bonus of the playrooms etc already being setup. We’d really like to hear from more people as to what makes a party work though as always willing to take feedback onboard.

Girls Afternoon. As we did last year we're having a girls afternoon a few weeks prior to the Meet and Greet on July 28th. My friend is organising it again as there are quite a few ladies that would like to go to events but aren't confident of going on their own so it gives them a few familiar faces to recognise on the night. Last year we had Sunday afternoon drinks for any ladies of RHP married, single, trans. There were about 15 of us which made for a great laugh and quite a few of those girls are now my close friends. We also have a pre meet and greet casual dinner the night before the M & G mainly for the interstate visitors to make the most of the weekend but it's also for anyone that wishes to come along and meet some people before the big night. And for those that can't make the meet and greet the following night. And yes the venue is key. No large tables and limited seating as much as my feet hurt in heels lol making it a stand up cocktail type of event keeps people mingling, The entrance of our venue is the opposite side to the bar and the DJ and grazing table are also at opposite ends to each other, I'm hoping this will keep people moving and chatting. Again the people is what will make a great party so I'm hoping everyone will make the effort to chat to as many people as they can EVEN if they don't happen to be their type. ❤️ FF
