We wouldn't. On our couple profile, we'd leave the in initial approach up to them and hope they sent that face pic they have in their private gallery...

Usually don't bother. The times we have bothered, the guy turned out to be... how to put this nicely, not that easy on the eye!

Why anyone think it's a good idea is beyond me, usually results in a big fat NEXT!

Mind you, we mostly kept Mr P's pics in the private gallery... we had enough people contact us that it was never an issue. We'd reciprocate to those people who interested us with permission to our private gallery. Easy.

In my view, our profile is a couples profile so it should be about both of us.We made specific photos of us together for our profile. Regardless of if we want to play with a single female or male, we're still selling ourselves as a couple.I personally find couple profiles who have no males pictures off putting and I don't send a flirt or msg, even if the woman looks appealing.MrSplicey is reserved and he still made an effort to put himself on display, so we don't accept shy as an excuse.MrsSplicey

It seems to be the "Norm" on all sites. We'd have to say a large majority of couples profiles on all three sites were members of, don't have pics if the guy. This either tells us that its either a fake profile, or he mustn't be that pleasing to look at if he's so camera shy, so we give it a nah from us. As they say, advertising is the best way of selling..

Those couples profiles that you refer to, are trying to attract either a unicorn, or they only want the female of the couple anyway. - Posted from rhpmobile

When I was a couple and we searched we found it so frustrating I agree if it is a couple we need to see both as my ex was bi and some times she hated the look of the guy...

Quoting 'sirlurkalot' Those couples profiles that you refer to, are trying to attract either a unicorn, or they only want the female of the couple anyway. - Posted from rhpmobile What u r saying does not make sense. I am a girl and looking at the profile I want to know what the guy looks like. It is important the girl is attractive also but guy is the main focus. How many unicorns do u figure are just looking for a girl? Most couples that are looking for a unicorn (including us) want to both play, so do u think the unicorn isn't going to care what the dude looks like?

I put up a face pic a few weeks back but had to revert back to my face hidden pic. Because of a past sporting life I used the face hidden pic for ages. I was a lil apprehensive about showing my face pic, but I took a chance thinking because it had been quite a few years since retiring most ppl wouldnt catch on.. Wrong ! it took about 3 days to receive a message asking some telling questions. When I got a second, that was it, I reverted back to the pic u see now.I just feel something is better than nothing , if I get interested I send my PG..

which is opened when we first start communicating. He's not shy but isn't comfortable having his face out there when he has a job that brings him in contact with the general public.Minx

Rock minx... What's the issue with a faceless torso shot? That's all any of us want from public photos...

Of course I'm being very literal but in the case of Mr P, he was very conscious of scars from surgery on his chest. Showing a pic of his bum is R-rated these days...

Quoting 'Paradisepair' Rock minx... What's the issue with a faceless torso shot? That's all any of us want from public photos... That's all we have and u are right, no one expects to see all your pics, just a teaser to initiate contact. We are more likely to contact if there are pics of both. I am impressed when the couple leads with a pic of Mr.We keep our face shots private. But the thing is we HAVE face shots and we HAVE body shots of Mr.We want couples who want to be with both of us and find both of us attractive. This is all we want to see in return.

Seriously while my Mr may forgive an approach without a shot I look at it as a reflection on the couple, a negative one at that.

A negative reflection? Your very quick to judge a relationship based on the lack of a photo! To be honest, I don't trust most of the torso shots on here, so never thought to put up one of Rock, when all you have to do is ask to see the complete package, he's so much more than a torso I respect his decision not to have a photo in the profile, there are many reasons why people don't put up profile pics. Who you chose to contact and your reasons why are your own, it's a shame to judge though, you may be doing yourself an injustice.......Also not all couples are seeking the elusive unicorn or female of the couple to play!

In the private gallery, they are there, we open that gallery as soon as we send or respond to a message.

Am I justified in being extremely annoyed at the number of times I've heard the story about not having pics up due to their job, and they need discretion? Happy to email or text, mind you. Seriously, what's the difference? Once the pics are out there in cyber space, it's anyone's game.If they are in a private gallery, you control who sees them. And you can remove their access at any time. So Mr Joe Bloggs your customer or business partner, is not going to be any the wiser!Yes, it's good see pics of the females, but pics of the males are just as important! And I'd really rather not have to give my email address out just to see them!** Rant over! **

I think there is a big difference between a picture being on Yahoo mail or being on a swinger's site. Sure, you can delete your photos, but as you said yourself: once it's out there, it's there forever. What if RHP were to suddenly go bankrupt and close down? Our pics could be here for all eternity. Of course we do have plenty of body shots of us both, but face pics we prefer to send via email. And of course we created a special email address just for the occasion ;-) x Ms Shout

Quoting 'MsElle72'Isn't that what the pg's are for???- Posted from rhpmobile The point is they're on the server of a company we know very little about, which is a prime target for hackers who might be interested stealing that data for many reasons. We're not criticising Red Hot Pie here or accusing them of any dodginess, and I'm sure they have cyber security measures, but if Sony's user data can get hacked, anyone's game. We don't wear tin foil hats, but we do feel more comfortable storing and sharing personally identifying pictures on servers that don't have targets on them by belonging to an adult dating site. Mr Tryst Those that believe that their information is safe, secure and private are the ones wearing a TFH. The very real legitimate security concerns you point out are the least of your worries. ... As of 2 days ago it is official (from the Snowden leaks) - your government is an active partner with the NSA in the US intercepting and storing in full, to the finest of detail the entirety of your online activities... just in case you become a terrorist and they need to dig up historical evidence ?Of course there are those among us who would actually agree with the ludicrous justification "if you've got nothing to hide you shouldn't care"

Hack away and post them all over the net...who cares. Our naked pics have no face shots...ever. These are the pics we care if they got out to the masses. Def don't want naked face pics out there. How is putting a face pic on here any different than facebook for example. Mr. Fun_flirty has a high profile job and it would be career limiting for him if naked pics with his face got out. He still has pics on here tho. All girls know what he looks like b4 a meet. For us, we don't do the email thing or MSN/Skype we have found these to be the biggest time wasters. We have never met anyone who requests pics by email or who wanted to skype. In the beginning we would trade email pics, now we are pretty militant. No pics to share, u won't meet us. Time is too precious to us.

My line of employment IS extremely sensitive so absolute discretion is a must! Hence why I will not post any face photos either publicly or privately in any gallery. I will, however, send a face pic via mms but only after I have seen what the other person looks like, ensuring that I have not met him/her/them during my travels and/or associated with my employment. I maybe a little naive as I am new to this game, but I say give people the benefit of doubt? They may actually be telling the truth. If not, then we do have the choice and power to just cut all communications and move on...
