When prudes attack!

March 25 2014

Have you encountered an extreme and unexpected negative reaction to sending a message or in chat? Even more incredibly, was it a tame message? I just had a nasty rejection message (and of course blocked immediately afterward so I couldn't respond) when my initial message didn't even mention sex. I was just remarking on our close geographical proximity and our ages, and so on. She viewed my profile, made some assumptions, and opened a can of nasty. One of the things that was a deal-breaker: she thought I sounded 'promiscuous'. What kind of thinking drives the impulse to make a profile on a swinging/hook-up site and then essentially call the men who message filthy sluts? Gor-blimey, I pity the fool who sends her one of those charming initial messages naming bodily fluids and/or parts... I've heard a few stories before about attacks from the prudish who have somehow confused this site with their knitting circle's blog, but this was my first experience. Any others out there?

after exchanging a number of messages and realizing that we had a few acquaintances in common,I commented on his new profile name....I found it quite disturbing and said so....his response was volatile and he sent me a validation basically saying that I was a very good whore....I was enormously grateful to him for doing that....imagine if we had actually met...still makes me feel a little I'll just thinking about it.....As to that message Slips,it was probably from an old wrinkly troll in shock from receiving any kind of attention:-) :-) xx Q

Maybe she didn't like the fact that you are bisexual? Some women have an issue with bi men.

Of course you sound promiscuous. Your profile is clear about you wanting lots of (safe!) sex with both boys and girls! Woohoo! But seriously, you know as well as I do that crazies, prudes and other undesirables are found everywhere. I've only had a handful of nasty replies here, though most after declining someone. However I was recently on a first date with an RHP-er who, when the subject of MFM came up, told me he could never watch me have sex with a guy in front of him. As a matter of fact, if I were to be his girlfriend, he would not be happy with me seeing anyone else at all... O_o Prude? Crazy? On the wrong site? Trying to understand people can be like trying to smell the colour nine. For the record, I love your profile and hope I sound half as promiscuous as you do.

abused for calling myself 'larger'. I didn't want to give the impression I am small, because I am not. I am not someone people would point at in the street and scoff either. To be honest, I am never sure what exactly to call myself weight wise, I am not big but I am not small, I am not really curvy, more like lumpy and bumpy. I have also been told to settle down but not in a derogatory way and not on this site.

Heaven to bestsy, I need to avert my eyes. knit one, pearl two oh fuck I dropped a stitch looking at some guys cock I think I need a good lay down now, and hope some promiscuous person falls on top of me. Yes there are fruits and nuts all over the place, and she may have wanted a super straight boyfriend and all those other sites were just not working for her. ladyT from the knitting club

but something about your post made me guffawtle out loud slippery :) Perhaps the sheer shock of someone on an 'adult' site being offended by, well, anything really! - Posted from rhpmobile

I think what Mark Twain said, 'The report of my death was an exaggeration,' could be equally applied to my supposed promiscuity. I have a no-holds-barred attitude on my profile for much the same reason that someone says they're buying 'the winning lottery ticket'... at the same newsagent... each and every week. Bingo Luckdragon23, the bisexuality was among the strikes contributing to my strikeout. Though it sounds like promiscuity is the bigger crime. Perhaps if I'd been a very chaste bisexual? Penetrative sex with three or fewer women over my lifetime and just one male-male handjob but 'my heart wasn't really in it'? Bad news for the straight guys though. Men, if any of you out there are reading this now and you've actually been having sex, for goodness sake, stop! It's yucky! No one wants pre-loved items. If you've already been having sex, there's no way in hell you're gonna get laid in future. Best re-attach the shrink wrapping if you ever want to have cause to remove it again. Though I guess there's a certain kind of logic to it... insurance companies won't insure a driver who crashes all of the time.
