Where to begin..

Hello all! I'm a new member (only a few weeks) and whilst trying to get me head around how to best use and navigate my way around the site. I just hoped to get some ideas, feedback, suggestions on how to maximise my time here and best present myself/profile. Positive and negative thoughts are welcome, from what I've seen on these forums. Most are all lovely people in their own way! So i'm more than happy to take it all on board! Thanks in advance and apologies for what is probably been asked 9583 times already here!

Take your time, treat the people you contact with respect, deal with rejection gracefully, it isn't personal, just the way it is, people can afford to be choosey here.Beware of the bots and fake profiles, there are lots and take time to compose your profile to really reflect who you are, not the image you want to project.The people here are awesome, some strong opinions, and that is fine, a debate is great, but arguments are noisy and messy.If you persevere, you will make some good friends and contacts and have some great experiences.The old rule, watch and learn, and take your time. Nothing good comes from rushing things.Best of luck to you!

It seems honest and positive. As has been said, take your time to get co. For table with the process. It's all about how you message and make initial contact. Good luck

I personally found this helpful, after weeks of joining and messaging lots of people, with almost no replies...left wondering, and anxieties that arise from not getting replied to.. If you have access by a desktop or laptop device, be sure to check your account messages sent box. It lists messages sent, and shows a status of read/unread. Like other online comms it can give a better perspective once you know the status of each message. Ps. If anyone knows how to do this check on the actual apps (not website) please post instructions. - Posted from rhpmobile

It lists messages sent, and shows a status of read/unread. there is a way to read messages without them showing as read in the sent folder. Some women purposely use this method of reading messages so that guys won't pester them once they see that the message has been read.OP - I think your profile is pretty good. You could maybe add a little more detail to bring out your personality a bit more, as what you have written at the moment is quite generic. I'd also suggest - if you haven't already - having a browse of past forum topics as there are numerous topics about profiles, messaging etc. You can do a search of the forum tags (basically a keyword search) to help with this as well.
