Worth it?

April 22 2017

I'm new here & - if you look - you'll see I have quite some work to do to finish my profile. A quick question though, is membership really worth it ? I'm not here with any sense of entitlement or naively thinking that I'll be swamped with offers - I'm simply just a nice fairly-handsome guy with a bit of a naughty edge :-) Is this a place where you can genuinely find some fun ? or are there better places to look ? I'd be grateful for any thoughts from those who've walked this path recently before. Thanks all.

Do you enjoy interacting with people online? Exchanging lots of emails and putting in the time it takes to establish a connection with a woman? That would be question number one for me. Sounds to me like most women don't view this as a simple hook up site, they want some assurances that there will be a connection prior to meeting. So, it sounds time consuming from the comments I have read on this forum from other contributors.

...to become a member if you eventually wan to get laid as a result of your time here on this site. It's much different for the lovely ladies here as the male:female ratio is highly disproportional and they at times I am sure are overwhelmed with the response they get...and often shocked at the content! Next question?

I would suggest taking out a months' membership and see how it goes. You will probably find that you jig and rejig your profile a few times, add and subtract photos. As others will tell you, the blokes greatly outnumber the women here and elsewhere so the competition is huge. If you have something amazing to offer you should do fine, if like me however you're just a normal bloke who sees nothing wrong with being normal you will probably find you don't receive a lot of attention. I originally was on here as a single bloke looking for women and couples, didn't mention I was bi as it puts most women off. I got a bit of sniffing around from couples, nothing but message ping-pong (that eventually peters out to nothing) from single women. I changed my profile to being a bi bloke looking for couples and that's a bit more of a niche market, far less crowded and as such I have had heaps more interest. No success yet, mind, but heaps more interest. If you do take out just a month, remember that it will auto-renew so if you grow bored make sure you cancel your auto-renew.

I upgrade every other month when I feel like taking charge of who I get in contact with and see penis photos :) Anyway, while I'm a Guest, a guy would need to get in touch with me ;) As for guys, I think it makes sense to understand what the site's about before upgrading. I think too many guys upgrade right away and don't understand why they aren't getting laid immediately. Most don't even bother with an original write up or photo... Of say 10 guys who write in to me, maybe 1 or 2 haven't met people as yet, whereas other guys seem to be doing fine. Good luck!

Hi, It would make no difference in my case as distance is the major issue so being a paid member wont help plus being a kiwi and no chance of meeting any one and I don't expect to , as for going out with any one that wont happen. So I just look listen or read and try and comment, im really looking at having friends and a long term relastionship would be ...lovely... other than that no much will be happing for myself, skype would work though don't think any one will be that interested any way ...noeleena...

Thanks for all the replies folks. I'll get busy with my profile, join in the forums for a while, strike out with membership after a few weeks. One other question, I'm sure everyone likes to see what others look like - I know I do. From a work perspective though, it might be a bit awkward to see my face plastered over this site. I'm sure others must have a similar worry. What's the best approach to balance privacy vs. faces? - Posted from rhpmobile

Why don't you put face pictures in one and only give access to people you have spent time communicating with so that you know they are genuine.

Op as other's have mentioned already. Not a waste of time but I'd certainly start out as a guest. Envole yourself within the forums so people will get an idea of your attitude and beliefs.Posting a few pic's of yourself will also be helpful. Look out for meet and greets in the event's page. I know the pleasure lounge has 1 a month for newbies. Great way to get to know people and make new friend's. Also shows that your a person not just another profile. Good luck Op 😊 - Posted from rhpmobile
