Check out an article in 'The Age' 'Life and style', titled 'Women only have eyes for the big boys.' April 2013. Sorry I really gotta learn how to post a link on here. Now this has been discussed on here Time and again and then some. With the overwhelming majority agreeing that penis size is not really an issue when it comes to choosing mates, whether that be a playmate or a life partner. (I am of this category of woman who doesn't feel the need to have a LARGE man) Does this research seem a little like a waste of time and resources to you too? When you read how the research was conducted, 'other slight changes were made to the images as well as the penis size, could it be that the combination of all these tweaks made the men more attractive. I don't care how anonymous it is, you will always get people opting for the bigger penis because society in general says that bigger is better, and most people like to conform. It also goes on to say that there was no limit to the extent of large, the specs shown were between 5 and 13 centimetres (flaccid) ' the concept of a penis that was too big was outside their range of testing'. They claim that in a nutshell, women display a clear preference for men in excess of 13cm on a flop. Which means that excludes 95 % of men, which leads me to think that a majority of women had most probably never even had sex with a man of this size... And testing the theory on a flop... Really who takes note of how big it is then, most of my experiences with cocks have been when they are already on a semi if not full erection. I could go on and on... Yeah you know I could. There are so many holes in this research... Just thought you may find it interesting/funny.

Have to say those guys with enormous flaccid cocks are quite impressive but men also have innies and outties. I think sometimes a man's belly can also have something to do with it too... It pushes on the penis so it is more retracted when flaccid. I know this thanks to the Embarrasing Bodies show. Personally I prefer average to big.

That Embarrassing bodies show on Channel 9 did a story about the difference between the length of flaccid cocks and hard cocks. They did it with a rugby squad of about 20 guys. I seem to recall there was a guy with a 5 or 6 inch flaccid penis that was 7 inches when erect. Another guy was 2 inches when flaccid but 5.5 or 6 inches when erect and the guy who had a 9 inch erection was 4 to 5 inches when flaccid. Guys can be a grower not a shower. A big bulge will guarantee a decent erection though.

I mean other than long term partners which has only been a handful, casual flings have usually been all hot and heavy and by the time you get their pants off it's already at least at a semi erection... I like the build up of dirty talk at the dinner table, sexual innuendo etc. But yes I absolutely get it and thought it was general knowledge that small flops could well turn out to be big stiffies and vice versa...

Per Meeka's comments I had wondered if the guys at sex parties tended to be larger than average (thus having the confidence to attend) as from my limited experience they seemd to skew larger than the average locker room, but perhaps not. Probably need to hold your survey at a gym locker room to get a good cross section ( and no! I'm not talking girth lol)

Disagree given that there's been a study to prove otherwise... I can't see any of them agreeing with it either, as it would then give weight to calling a woman a shallow Neanderthal.... Oh the places that women get stuck in thanks to some desk knob justifying his job!!!! In general, the whole debate on penis size, wherever or however its discussed, is one that probably can't ever be done with much accuracy or honesty really. I mean, if you do a survey of the average dick size listed on here, or alluded to in any debate/ forum etc, versus what you see at a large sex party such as Saints and Sinners - well there's rather a large disparity. it seems that the majority of the population can't use a ruler. We just can't be bothered with the debate anymore really. :)

It maybe a dumb article but just look at women's and men's magazines that always rehash the same old thing preying on people's insecurities and reenforcing all those stereotypes. Have to say in my opinion it's men that are far more obsessed with penis size than women ever are. I still don't understand your Neanderthal comment. ??

Do look in the profiles people, you will find a decent proportion of woman's and couples profiles where the preference is for "hung", just the way it is !No amount of mamby pamby "size doesn't matter" rhetoric is going to change that.Same with the personality, character, age thing, the guys getting laid are in the 25-40 sweetspot with guns and abs.
