Young couples in Melbourne meet and greet on the 30th.

August 08 2014

Hey fellow Melbournians, We are hoping to bring together young people for a night of decent fun on the 30th of August. If anyone here has any ideas as to where we should meet that could get the ball rolling? xox

Hi Nice, great idea. Needs to be more social events for RHP members. Sometimes people want to attend functions advertised, but may feel anxious or intimidated? Look for a venue with plenty of room to mingle, easy access by PT, music, but not deafening so you cannot hear the person next to you, food for those who might like to graze, preferably stays open till 1 or 2am.... If you get a good response, might pay to canvass attendee's if they intend to book a hotel, ring around a few places close by and try and arrange a deal for discount accommodation.... These are just a few ideas that may help your night along..... Cheers...

what threesixty said. We had a great couples turn out for the last Melbourne meet and greet so I think it would work a treat. You can advertise it in here and create an event to get an idea of interest and a list of contacts.

...whether this was exclusively for couples? The heading states couples but the post itself (OP) refers to single 'people' Just wanted to clarify because I would love to participate in a melb meet'n'greet for under 40s, especially if single women are present (hey, one can dream?).
