I just made a chocolate cake using a Jamie Oliver recipe. Very decadent melting dark chocolate to pour on top, with strawberries and cream in the centre. I’ve had one slice. Can’t fit any more in, so I may have to smear it on my titties! Hugs Gaz

love chocolate but I make a point of always buying it to share. So I would buy a whole lot, pick out what I want and share it around at work so I don’t eat it all: - Cadbury favourites except Turkish delight and caramello - snickers - picnic - just plain Cadbury Dairy Milk roll - agree tastes better than the block - Kit Kat - always eaten by biting off the ends and top and bottom and then eating the wafer - anything choc mint - anything choc orange or just jaffas will do - anything with coconut - Webster’s or is it Whittakers coconut slab - little block in gold paper is pure magic - Lindt Choc coconut bar - Rafaello - my total indulgence - Posted from rhpmobile

I didn't know there was one. I'm not such a huge icecream fan, rarely eat icecream, makes me feel a bit sick. I think I'm slightly lactose intolerant or something like that. Full cream and hilo milk give me a pain in the stomach as well. Chocolate however, I can handle 😉😜

I love turkish delight!!! My mum and I fight over them when one of us gets a variety box as a present. Sadly we are a family of sharing, but not after I've gone though the box first. I tried the new twirl caramel and it was gross. The flavour let me down. Did anyone try the vegemite block? Thoughts? I felt it needed more vegemite and less caramel. As I write this Im nibbling into my packet of mixed buttons (white and normal) with a strong short black.

But i can be tempted occasionally with lindt chocolate balls. Specially the white ones with coconut rough. I got given some in Christmas and some on my birthday last year Boxes still untouched in my fridge but I always offer my kids (they don't have sweet tooth) and friends to help themselves. I'm trying to flog them off. The latter help themselves with my wine 🍷 for some reason. 😄

Come to think of it, I put a large bowl of chocolate on my desk to share at the office during Xmas time. I mean large bowl. and those tinned variety where people select the chocolate based on the menu under the lid. All given to me by clients and I don't eat them. Every morning people come around to say hello and chat and stick their hand into the bowl. It made them smile and make their day. It took 2 months to empty the bowl. Such self control. 😄 The visitors like to read the menu and select their favourites. Like a treasure hunt.

That is one of my favorites, and yes I’d go for that in the chocolate boxes when they were all the rage. I suppose my favorite chocolate box was Black Magic and my favorite out of that was “Montelimar” which was dark chocolate covered nougar(?) (nougat) it seems pretty rare now 😞 it was the biggest in the box!! Then I liked the dark chocolate Turkish delight then the dark chocolate butterscotch and finally the dark chocolate orange 🍊 cream. My least favorite was the coffee cream! M_D4 - Posted from rhpmobile

Being from the uk .. the uk Cadbury’s is so addictive I bring a stash home with me .. including proper double deckers that just now are sitting in my fridge for that emergency .. just when they are needed !! I’ve never had an issue passing up Cadbury’s Australian chocolate because of what they put in it so it doesn’t melt with the heat ... !! But when it comes to .. Tim Tams .. biting of only 2 very small corners diagnally .. then sucking your cup of tea through the biscuit and smashing it before it melts ... yep .. it took me 2 biscuits to learn that tradition and it was the best Australian tradition to be taken onboard .. 🙌🙌🙌 Cadbury’s creme eggs .. Now made into to ice cream ... if anybody has a tub they are willing to give up .. I’d give sexual favours for that .. just to try it !! 😜 - Posted from rhpmobile

I get cravings for chocolate every couple of weeks or so and have been told it is because my body wants magnesium due to my big intake of mil. Supposedly the calcium needs magnesium to break down in the body easier. Anyways I have a penchant for lindt dark usually the raspberry infused. Used to love lion bars and whips and just because of this thread I bought a wispa bar from England in the international isle to try though I have a feeling they were here once when I was a kid. Ice-cream wise I really had a thing for monaco bars. I tried the Aldi ones which I called aldaco bars and they were rather average but if someone has had them can they please tell me what biscuit or dessert they reminded me of. A must is a quality dark with a quality cognac for a splurge if you are a drinker. If not a damn good coffee...... NOT instant

Every country makes its Cadbury just a bit differently to cater for the local tastes. NZ closed its factory in Dunedin, this only part of the reason for Whittaker's increased popularity. Whittaker's also make excellent chocolate, do yourself a favour.
