All things being equal, I would chose brunette. But something as superficial as hair colour is pretty far down on what I prefer in a lady. Especially as it can be prone to change. There are some stunning blondes out there, as well as some gorgeous brunettes.

sorry but I conform to the stereotypical norm of tall dark and handsome (well to me anyway). I find brunettes more sultry looking. There have been some exceptions but generally speaking. Seems a few tend to favour the same as their own hair colour, would be interesting to see who bucks the trend.

Brunettes dye their hair blonde , blondes dye their hair dark . Caveat Emptor ! If blondes turn you on , there's about a 70 percent chance that they're not blondes at all . All the women with one exception that I have been head over heals for have been natural red heads. Its not that I seek them out, as most hide the red hair under colouring and they don't always have the classical light freckly skin. There is definitely something associated with red hair and personality that I am very attracted to. But I am at a loss as to the link.

Naturaly a mousy blonde I dyed my hair in my younger days. I've been red, black with a white fringe, blue streaks, purple, brunette and blonde. I do not suit being a blonde! So now naturally mouse with grey.......I admit they creep through! If I had to choose it would be a red head on a female. And dark with a nice hint of salt on a male. Went quite blonde for a little this year and everyone loved it. Recently went to a party where I've gone back to my natural colour and those people all commented on how dark hair really suits me. And I think they were right. I'm more about the hair suiting a persons skin tone and face. Too many people try to die their hair to be "the other" and it just doesn't have the same sexiness as their natural hair colour. If you can die your hair a different colour and it enchances your features then go for it. But don't die your hair for the sake of what you think will attract a mate. On guys dark hair or dark hair with greys really does something for me. Makes them look distinguished. But I wouldn't choose someone based on their hair or lack of it. There's a whole lot of other characteristics like eyes and smile that will draw me in.

though coming from a Mediterranean background, Black hair is often a winner.
