Slightly off topic but I remember my first time as really bad.Dire straits Brothers in Arms played in the background. If I hear that I shudder with dread. If someone played that during sex it's instant loss of libido. I know this because it happened! So music does have a profound effect. But never noticed any other band having positive or negative effect except that one.

I have an album called 'flying hands' by Lindsay Buckland predominantly dulcimer and instrumental only. This album oozes sex on a stormy rainy night.

Get real. Try Camille Saint-Saens Symphony Number 3. It is called the "Organ" Symphony Perhaps with good reason. Very popular - again perhaps for good reason. (part of it was the theme tune for the film "Babe"). To my mind the most sensual and seductive music ever written. I do not know that I could 'do it' to the music. It is rather more like being in a very long sensual seduction, the sort that we all dream of enjoying - until the organ can no longer restrain itself and bursts forth in an incredible orgasm. Then a wonderful and sensual recovery while your would returns to normal. Perhaps a bit like 'The Kiss'? If you do not have a copy, borrow one from the library. let it flow through your imagination. it is the best vicarious sex!!!!!! Gordie

I really love music, and have the radio on for the best part of the day normally. But if I have to do any particular tasking, I find the music usually distracts too much, so I end up switching it off. Wouldn't imagine I could really enjoy sex with music going, no matter the theme - would much prefer to listen to the 'natural' tunes accompanying the act. Tall

marvin gaye is good, plus some of the older 70s motown type stuff. maybe some Bread, Lobo, Alabama etc to get the fuse kit. THEN it is Foghat, 'i just wanna make love to you' (KEEP UP WITH THE BEAT) Nazerath, 'whisky drinkin' woman', Lynard Skynard. maybe some ozzy, rob zombie and slipknot to round things off........ by then there are lamps broken and somebody called the cops....

I know it may sound silly coming from a once fulltime and now part-time musician, but I tend to get too involved in the music. For example, if I go to see a live band with someone, I 'rudely' spend most of the time paying attention to what the guitarist and vocalist are doing and am hence, distracted. (Sorry, I really DO try to pay attention to whom I'm with, but to be honest you can't hear them anyway...). So, I find that if there is music playing during sex (unless it's very low), I can be distracted to the point of it being annoying and 'politely' ask if it can be canned. So, I can give my full attention to the matter at hand... Strange... Huh?

it distracts me and I start singing the words in my head. I rather the sweet music of the sound of his hand striking my arse, the gasp as he pulls my head back by my hair, the groan as his cock enters my throat. The rattle of chains, the clink of steel on steel as I fight against the spreader bar the sound the cuffs make as my arms are pinned above my head. The whisper of rope as it circles my body, the moans and sharp intakes of breath as the hot wax splashes onto my skin....

I'm stroking it to the east, and stroking it to the west... However, If I am with a woman it is a different story. Sometimes no music, (depends on the situation), sometimes something like a few candles and a bit of Enya type music is good, (not too many words and background mood music) glass of bubbly on a big soft rug in front of an open fire, lots of kissing and caressing.

Is that what turns one on will turn others off. For example, and yeah i'm sorry, but marvin gaye just would give me a soft on, wait can i have one of them, anyway only once i met another queens of the stone age fan, and that was the exception, otherwise, i too would rather hear the sexual noises, moans, little whimpering noises haha and screams, and the wet squelchy, sloppy sounds mmm think porn with background music, just isn't the same as hearing the real noises - Posted from rhpmobile

I had to play that on a piano accordion in the play Cosi (one of the first groups to do the play many years before the film). Anyways I sit here amusing myself (no not playing you dirty little minds ) thinking about this music thing. Now I have had music in my veins from day dot and I need to sing, strum or drum when I hear music. So it needs to be ambient for me no words no big rythm. I think of some of the songs from bands like faith no more and how offensive singing those words could be in the throws of copulation. Or perhaps I would start drumming out a beat on her arse or breasts or just strumming her nipples to the rythm guitar. Could be rather annoying I would think
