I just received an email in my inbox about RHP sponsored boat party this weekend! I get sea sick :( and you can't get off a boat either if you suddenly want to go but I agree Sydney Harbour is a spectacular place for a party.

Never been a fan of the party boat novelty. I think boats have more limitations than say a bar. Also it isn't the venue that makes a good meet and greet, it is the people that attend. As long as there is room to sit, tequila & good acoustics (i.e. can hear the person next to you).

The last one I went to was at El Loco. Great attendance - but the venue was too noisy for the style of meet and greet. Best one I have been to - was at a small bar in the Darling Harbour. Ended up passed out in an elevator. It was excellent.

Who will put the deposit down? Considering about threequarters of RSVP's don't show up, it's a bit of a risk to take.

I would definately not be interested in a boat party. Like to arrive when I want and leave when I want, bit tricky to leave if you are surrounded by water.

Billy, why not find a place that has a view over the water. Best of both worlds. Cheers, W. - Posted from rhpmobile

wild things happen with tequila. I wouldn't go on a boat. I sometimes get sick but mostly I want to be able to leave when I want.

and was thinking something the same, could turn into a naughty little shin dig. Might be better for a couples event. Money up front, limited numbers. No show, no refund. Some ladies who came in at work were going on a burlesque cruise down the yarra for a hen's night. Sounded like it would be fun.

I'm a land-lubber and would avoid events on boat.I like to know my nearest exit points and to leave when I like - not so easy on a boat.

When we got to the drinks night there was a hens night going on a cruise . Personally I love the idea but I see the people who want the freedom to come and go as they please point but we would be in favour If there was one organised ( could be a good theme - Posted from rhpmobile
