Been on here quite a few years. Yes there appears to be more ads. I also feel that there are less controversial & less personal ones posted. There has been a trend in recent years to not just make a comment or to put forth a argument against, people deride the subject & the poster. Tends to put people off posting.

There's posters that are happy and entertaining and posters who only ever see the glass half full... I avoid the latter like the plague , but they still seem to haunt you.. If you thought contributions on the forums were an advert, write a sexy story. I did 😜 and along came the ridiculousness of guys hunting me down and not so many sensual vixens, ok maybe a few... Ditto what our esteemed colleague Antichrist said. There are ads.... and there are attitudes. Both categories are easy to spot. Some are shallow, some are self serving, some clearly self promoting, and some like to blow smoke up others because they're trying to curry favour and get into those someone's pants. There are laid back types, and there are some with thin skins and brittle egos who take any perception of criticism as a challenge to their advertising and a threat to their sexual aspirations, so they thump their chest and/or run off to the mods to complain. There are others who simply enjoy a presence via discussion and point of view sharing in the forums. To summarise.... Variety as it's said.... is the spice of life. But not all spices are to our personal taste. Sweet, salty, sour or bitter. It all mixes in the RHP pot. 😎

I view the forums as a way to see a bit more into people. Show a bit more of a reflection of who someone is. I met a couple recently for a meet and greet and it was good to be told that I was different from the guys that generally contact them who just want a fuck and have no respect. It meant a lot hear that. So yes people do use it to advertise themselves because there are a lot of undesirables out there.

I think the forum has always been used for advertising and that doesn't bother me at all. It's the inability to read a topic and actually get that it is talking about new people to the fora... not the regulars who are constantly advertising themselves in every topic (including this one) that has me rolling my eyes. I'm a little different to most in the respect that I don't want or expect people to be perfect. Comments suggesting we should be mindful all the time just make me cringe. Yes we have battles but so what? Real people, real emotions. I have no interest on sugar coating or fitting in, or losing sleep over trolls. Genuine friendly people who don't follow you around waiting to drive the knife in, sadly carting baggage around, I don't understand that. It's the worst form of trolling. I'm saying what a lot of people are thinking. And mostly, I'm not so subtle with the passive aggressive digs either. None of us here are saints and we all have different opinions and baggage. I'm okay with that, just get bored when the topic becomes about the same people so often or their digs at OPs. Some might say, I'm the same in some ways. Fair enough, I can see that point of view too. I don't post on many threads at all besides mine and my favourites though, so I like to think my influence is somewhat watered down as far as being widespread goes.
