hook, line and sinker.

grabs again........ i'm feelin a bit anarexic here, i think I'm using the right bait, selected the best hook, wieghted the line to the correct depth, thinking I'm gunna score a great feed then......nothing!..FUCKING NOTHING. Sure could use a tip or 2 from you more wiser bro's and gal's to help fill the plate.

you got the right fishing spot, conditions aren't favorable though. You got a howling onshore breeze blowing in ya face with your profile...... try some different burley (content) dude, that might bring the fish in! happy fishing 'grabs'

Profile only gets you so far. Cold calling is really hit and miss. I think it pays to get known. At events, in this forum, in the chat room... just like any other social setting. Hugs Stalky

I'm one of the ones that's been here for many a year. Mainly for the forums these days, but as has been said above, either get out to meets / parties, so people get to know you, or spend some time in chat. If people have an idea of who you are from talking to you at either a party or meeting, or via the chat room, they're more likely to want to get to know you better. Those two things are like ice breakers. Best of luck :)

plenty of fish in water! u need to familiar wid ocean... When I joined I had perception it will easy to get to know but picture was other side... May becoz I look younger don`t know but after a year I broke the ice finally! So keep trying who knows?
