“seeking pleasure in pain”

May 26 2020

Why do some people find pleasure in pain ? All are our beliefs, norms, values and culture is based on positive causation like staying fit and healthy by eating good diet and exercising every day. But pleasure in pain comes from negative causation because our body, if being hurt send signal to our brain for negative emotion. How people develop pleasure in negative causation. - Posted from rhpmobile

Why? Because pleasure and pain are both subjective and constructs in the mind of the person feeling it. We all feel pain and pleasure individually I don’t understand your reference to fitness etc, within the context of pleasure/pain.......But, to follow that line of thought to make a real mess of your position...... Exercise can be painful, strenuous, difficult. I have been a semi pro athlete and the training often left me in agony: But while the immediate pain was endured, I loved WHY I put myself through it and the rewards were mine to own Similar could be said for childbirth and many women work beyond the pain to decide to go through that pain multiple times Pain can be very individual..... so to is pleasure.

Well there are differences and everyone is different in how they like it or not. Pain can be pleasurable when you want the physical pain and you have built the trust of the person whom is inflicting that pain for you. Pain may not be pleasurable if the person inflicting it extends beyond your limits to satisfy themselves or it is uncalled for. Emotional pain, my own personal thoughts is I don’t like that and I wouldn’t subject others to it. People can be a pain in the arse and you can either stick with being around them or choose not to associate with them.

FFF, right back art ya! Always love those on here that aren’t afraid of speaking their mind... Come on though, the profile name’s not that bad 😂 Anyways, it’s good marketing, everyone remembers it... well, it’s got to be better than swinger69 (no offence if that’s actually someone’s profile name) To the OPs question, google “the neurobiology of bdsm sexual practice”. Have a read of the article in psychology today, I won’t try and summarise it, but it coveres what you’re asking about.

Mischieviouslad I think you're on the money. Having birthed 4 huge healthy babies, naturally and drug-free, I've learned to harness that pain, and use it as a means of enjoying the exhileration such mental toughness gives way to. I've since learned that some on the firm side spanking, arse grasping and hair-pulling offers me the same pain/pleasure duality I like. From an emotional/psychological perspective, being somewhat dominated in the bedroom offers me an opportunity to relinquish some control, in a way that my every day life as wife and mum (aka chief ij charge) does not. Just my thoughts on the question posed. 😊

The body produces endorphins in response to pain (similar to opioids). I had a client who was quadriplegic and would request that I inflict pain, so he could feel the chemical reaction.

The orgasms following a little pain are mindblowing. The absolute best. Love a guy who is comfortable giving them to me with a bit of impact.
