Unless things have changed, Granite Bay, slightly south of Noosa, would be a good bet.

For me it has everything, shops ,including a bookshop and cafes designed in the Eurpean way for watching the passing parade of pulchritudeinous pretentiousness....I love trying to pick the different accents.   Gorgeous beaches and restaurants facing the water.   Beautiful National forest walks ...and if you walk far enough you can find secluded little coves.   And of course the gelati... x Hesione travel guide

Byron is Awesome (Belongil) but to far for us in one day, nip up to ABAY @ Noosa while the kids are at school, nice walk through the National Park and levely uncrowded beach during the week, to lap up some rays in the nude nothing better!!!

I'm sure there are plenty of RHP'ers who go to Byron / Grays etc Perhaps we should organise a little social gathering ? Mid week is always nice as it isn't so crowded What do you say ?

Anything that encourages women to wear less (or no) clothing has got to be GOOD. Roll on summer!

Is the blue towel code for something? Quoting 'EuropianBliss' The dunes may beckon but I think mees will lay on my blue towel. :)

I work outside and driving from one place to another. I've been wearing long sleeve work shirts, a cap and sunnies, and I am still getting sunburned. My new shirt sleeves go down to my wrists so today it was only my hands that got roasted.   If this is what the QLD sun does to my bits that are accustomed to seeing the light of day, do I really want to expose the most sensitive external organ of my body to its blistering rays?   Noooo.   Keep your "naturism" folks. I much prefer being able to look down at my genitals and not mistaking them for a boiled lobster.

Quoting 'jensman1903 'I'm not much of a beach goer, more of a mountain man really.I am looking forward to the warmer weather though. The cold plays havok on my back and I'm looking forward to getting to and from work on my bike. the mountains are great places to take refuge in the warmer months....we like Mt Tamborine and Maleny etc as rides when its warm out, the summer months are more pleasant to ride in, unless you are stuck in traffic (filtering is illegal here now), i ride 365 days as we decided 2 cars was too much to support, and i wasnt giving up motorcycling... the beach is new for me, as its never been a place i liked...unless fishing...the nude thing is a bonus

When it was just me and my CB750/K4, weather made no difference to my riding. It felt more righteous. I wasn't like those weekend warriors, youngsters with sports bikes who only rode occasionally to goad other bikers into street races or older men in the throes of a mid-life crisis. Nigt or day, rain, hail or shine, if I had somewhere to go I was on that Honda. Age is a bitch. If the cold gets into my back, I can't walk without a stick. No more riding to work before dawn in the colder months. Come on summer!

There is nothing better then walking along the beach nude. Coffs harbour, Byron Bay are our favourites or in the bush
