template messages...

i was just wondering...how many of you have ever received a message, that included lines, that did not make any sense..had no relevance to you or the things you say in your profile...i have no problem with template messages...i understand, that sometimes one has to approach many , before they get a response(especially single guys)...and although i always prefer a message, that was actually written to us...i get that it sometimes can be to hard to bother...but if we do get one of those "template" messages...it would be nice if the writer would actually check and alter it, so that it has a relevance to us, before sending it...things like..." i know you have noticed my profile..." -- we never ever viewed it? " i am not into exchanging msgs back and forth" - we are..and kinda say it in our profile... " i am bi (guy) and would love to experiment with a couple" - my man is straight..again, we clearly state that...etc...anyone is bored enough..feel free to add to the examples...

I recieved a message ten minutes ago, from an interstate couple, looking to play with a couple under forty, when they are in Brisbane tonight I replied that me,myself and I are not a coulple and I am over fifty .I also said that obviously they had sent the message to many. The response ?.....'Yes I did but am looking for anyone"....gee I felt soooo specialx Hugs H

oh Hesione that is a terrible response lol......why do they then have to take even more special out of it for us lucky recipients of a msg that hasn't been personalised one iota ? If it makes you feel better, I have received a "but anyone will do" too

Template message are bad enough, (they always get a "not interested" from me).. But for Gods sake! If I have to read: " I admit I'm a sexual animal and can't get enough. People have described me as good looking but you can be the judge of that.", once again, I'll scream! Are these guys really THAT boring they have to steal someone else's boring crap?

And yes OP...all the time...thats how you know they havent read your profile !!! I must admit I do have template messages for both ""Yes Im Interested and No, sorry your not my cup of tea" but I ALWAYS read the profile before I respond and change the template accordingly adding or subtracting relevant words I can kinda beat you Hesione and OP I hope you dont mind me writing this but it does kinda come back to.... do people REALLY read ?? .......A close friend of mine passed suddenly during the week..naturally Im blue and pondering the purpose and meaning of life, the unfairness of one dying so young yada yada and its a very bleak arvo in Perth -so Im sitting here writing a eulogy for my speech next week, but I do have RHP on in the back ground....about a hour ago someone messaged me, general chat,asked how I was etc you know the usual..I said to him which was unlike me to reveal something so personal (must be the dull overcast day kicking in ) that actually I was in a pretty reflective mood at the moment as a close friend of mine died this week, and Im writing a eulogy at the mo, and questioning my own morality etc etc - so I know a bit heavy but thats what I wrote to him. He just messaged back " So are you up for a bit tonite then or what ?"..............................................Um no...funny that...yeah apparently I was wanted too ..ah how one longs for that sensitive new age guy !!!!
