  ... Cancelled all festivities... Bed ridden... Thanks for best wishes... Happy belated Birthday Luckdragon... Got a collective birthday party to go to friday (like 6 of my mates have their birthdays between the 25th and the 2nd of june), but i expect it to be a sausage fest so... Ugh...   Sorry to hear it was your birthday as well. :( I was sick as a dog, with the flu for about 3 weeks, just recently. I've never felt so unsexy in all my life. I spent three days in my jimmy jams in front of Foxtel and it drove me mental! All I wanted was some 's Nana's homemade chicken soup. So I am sending you some dry, it will be warm and will also sooth the soul as well. Shhhh but don't tell anyone as they will want some too... Nana made it from scratch! IF it's the Man Flu, sorry there's no medical cure, it only effects the XY chromosome. Don't Panic, best you get yourself a day/night nurse. Hope the gods hear your prayers... Foxy

  Happy Birthday....Foxxxy is right about the chicken soup.....my cure is vodka,lemon juice,chilli,garlic,whiz it up,....and drink as much as you can....definitely in the what doesn't kill you will make you better category though hugs xx Q

  Sorry to hear your under the weather and not some beautiful girl........ An old remedy, but a goodie........... Big glass of brandy, hot hot hot bath, as hot as you can handle (or shower if no bath), rise that body temperature big time, drink up the brandy, put some pjs on Nd pile on the blankets........ You feel weak as a kitten after, but all those nasty germs are just killed off......... Oh yeah, don't forget the Vicks on your feet with socks......

  Cold's come and go. You will never forget when you got the flu, that's for sure. Don't get the two mixed up. The common cold makes you feel like %$#@, the flu makes you want to curl up and die........
