  My ex husband and I had enough money to do what we wanted and buy what we wanted.....and now he is my ex...   I look for:   1) someone who is my equal 2) someone who challenges me 3) someone who will get up and go for a run just so that I will get up and complete my training 4) someone who makes my valentine's gifts 5) someone who wants to touch me at every opportunity 6) someone who will try anything once 7) someone I would enter the Amazing Race with 8) someone who smiles when he wakes up and sees me for the 1st time   and I am lucky cause I have all of that + more but wont bore you any further   K.

  personality will win hands down.. every time! ... and i agree, money pays the bills and you might spoil yourself or others with it... and it may offer security..but its not what makes a person any better than the next..   And just because i dont believe in everything you do... doesnt mean that i dont believe in you... ( i remember that saying from many years ago.. and some how it still sticks with me)

  Thankyou all for your very kind words of wisdom on my first forum postfeeling ... I can almost see the light of the end of the tunnnel aka six years of study..... I guess all I want is to be able to go out on a date with out feeling guilty for spending money... lol if that makes sense

  The easy answer is how well you make a girl feel..  do you make her feel wanted? admired?  lusted after???     If the answer is yes, then you are on your way..  Money does not come into it all..  and should you meet a girl that disagrees..  say good buy quickly....   Now that was the easy answer..  how to make a girl feel those things....  well it would be different for every girl you meet!   Best of luck   Kandy xxx

  if we've learned anything, it is "6 feet tall Ken Dolls with six-pack abs under the age of 30"  it depends on what sort of woman you're talking about - but I'd say generally it would be personality then financial status (i think you could lump the convictions one in with personality somewhat). Unless you're amazingly repugnant a gold-digger won't care about your personality, if you're filthy-rich but an arsehole then most women will walk (run?) away.Is conviction of belief always such a good thing? Haven't we all encountered someone with absolute conviction of their beliefs - except they're incorrect and you feel like you;re beating your head against a brick wall just talking to them? I think flexibility in your ideas/beliefs is a wonderful thing.

  My no 1. like in men is DRIVE... a passion about life and the desire to seize every opportunity it offers.   I believe with DRIVE... everything else follows.  A driven man can make money when he chooses to, can run 10 kms when he sets his mind to it, has an interest in a wide range of issues and will make crazy passionate love with ME !   Ohhh...  he'd also have to be confident enough to not be intimidated by a DRIVEN, passionate woman like me !   (I think Kileetrev's post describes the characteristics spot on.  I agree with all of those !)

  Kerrie is like that ....she makes me tired just watching her, allways on the go!
