Sometimes I don't reply straight away or sometimes ever if I smell a rat, especially if it's a flirt.Funny story, I had a flirt from a woman last night, who coincidentallylives on the other side of the country, me being me i'm never in any madrush to answer correspondence. I feel the same way. You send messages which you can only do as a paying member and to not have a response be it pos or neg is a pain in the butt. I would appreciate some response. If I can make the effort surely they can too. Is it too much to ask for?

I really think that RHP should try and get in box on a persons profile to let you know how many flirts and messages they reply to...a percentage rate. Then all you paying members can see if it is worth messaging/flirting that person or not! . When us females first join we do get inundated...but then it tapers off! No excuse not to reply unless you have not read their profile at all and you don't match what they are looking for. I have heard of females on here that are only looking for other females and have plastered all over their profile NO GUYS and same with couples...but yet they still get many messages. Is to go into your 'sent' messages to just check that it's even been read yet. As the others have said, girls get many unwarranted msgs on a daily basis here, from People that meet none of their own search criteria, should they even bother to reply when their own wishes have been already disregarded before the first meet? It tells them all they need to know . If more men thought of their first contact as the only chance they would get to engage the woman , a lot more mail would be responded to. The first is the MOST important, and I can't believe we still have to remind the boys of this :/

I figured that when I was a paying member (which has covered most of my time here), I was as entitled to ignore people as they were entitled to message me. As a non-paying, forum-posting, clearly-not-interested-for-them-wot-can-read member, I feel fully justified in taking the "if you'd bothered to read it, you wouldn't have 'wasted' your message" stance. This probably covers 95% of non-responses, btw. The other 5% can best be described by this choice quote: "You messaged me? I'm so sorry, I fell asleep counting sheep." (note, for those too 'special' to translate that themselves: read one 'hi how r u", read them all)

Still, my profile says that I'm not looking for single men and yet most of my messages and flirts come from them. I politely decline and usually get a return message thanking me for being polite. I guess they just keep trying on the off chance that they might be the special one that makes me change my requirements. I do use a template message that I have written that introduces myself and is polite i feel and i only message people who are looking for me. We get maybe 4-5 messages weekly from, usually, single guys. So far, so good.
