The company was awesome and the food was amazing.The Lamb was just to die for....and the dessert was out of this world. I think my eyes were bigger than my stomach and I'm still having flashbacks over the dessert :-) Thanks Lovely People xxx

We've learnt you do as told once in that kitchen ;) The chef knows what she's doing and everyone's always more than willing to pitch in when needed. The hostess with the mostest has put together two fantastic menus thus far and I can't see the next one being any less sensational. Did somebody say GUMBO?????

This particular event we are pulling the age range right back and of course we have the eternal issue of a lot of single male interest and keeping things balanced. I do apologize. You will not be the only person upset. As I have a couple of really good single male friends who I think are pretty crème of the crop (I feel you blushing- shucks 😉) that leaves only so many spots to balance with the single ladies. So (sadly) as Rhp parties always tend to go: SINGLE LADS, find yourself a clever, interesting lady to attend with if you fancy improving chances of attending this one. A mix is good for everyone. ok, there are things to be gotten on with now, like the MENU. What the hell am I feeding everyone?! Haha. Thanks for your patience and this is what I've spent my day on. Oysters natural with Tabasco and hot sauce on the side. Cajun BBQ prawns. Smoky paprika and sweet potato dip Baguette Honey BBQ chicken/ or southern deep fried chicken/ or both! Étouffée or Jambalaya- can't decide! Bourbon marinated salmon Black beans/red beans and rice Buttered corn cobs Bacon and tomato salad Killer coleslaw Lemon ice-box pie Rosemary biscuits Cocksucking Cowboys- because: insert innuendo about my tastes. 😋 Thoughts? As I mentioned above in DB1510, great people, great times. Was so happy with the level of respect towards each other and my house as well :) And Sorry it was such a cold night though, I need better heating. Shouldn't be a problem next time as the weather warms up. As for the Lemon icebox pie, it's cut up into bite sized chunks and back in the freezer ;) Everyone, watch this space for the next event....

What's your favorite easygoing Mexican food? :D The soft, warmed flatbreads...rolled with shredded lettuce, tomato, onion and the stew of red beans/chicken/mince/spices/etc...maybe with some sour cream or natural yoghurt too. Is that Fajita's? I don't know. And a spicy relish as a condiment, maybe? But I love the style of food and the concept of eating. Finger food...no utensils...potentially messy but requiring some delicacy to carry it off.

As well as showcasing @Longest_dream's culinary skills, and her, and her friends hosting skills, they are occasions for ladies to look their seductive, sexy, stylish best, and to flirt, vamp and flas to their hearts content. So I suggest if you're thinking of coming to one, you keep your promise to attend, or respond with your excuse, before the event. And solo guys, please get in the spirit, and dress the part, and if you ask for an invite, please be polite and follow up if your plans change and you can't attend. Sangria is Spanish and probably belongs with Tapas, small dishes, snacked on in a Spanish bar, a bit like a low tech sushi 🍣 train!! Also Paella 🥘 which is now very popular at food markets and Perth Fringe! Should be more of it in Perth, and less expensive in bars and cafes as it's peasant snack food! MD4 - Posted from rhpmobile
