Does it say you have to get naked sirlurk...? The plan is for a night of fun and social get together over some drinks in a nice casual yet classy location. What people get up to afterwards is their choice...hence the debauchery bit. Hopefully we will have a great turn out of people on the night! ;-)

Some people are weird. I think they use the "expectations" line not to attend things. I mean seriously, who is going to invite a bunch of strangers to a social night and then expect them all to get kinky... What on the restaurant table? Bathroom floor? Maybe everyone can run out into the alley way and bonk each other before the desert arrives. I can just see Freya spanking people while they are munching on their garlic bread.... Like any other evening. Whether it is in a restaurant, bar or even in a swingers club. You always do only what you feel comfortable doing. Isn't that common sense?

I have been asked by Cheffy if anyone is staying at the venue.....going to chat to him and find out if there's a special rate we can sort out. May I have a show of hands for those considering accomodation please so I can see what they'll do for a room? I might also suggest wotif.com, findaroom.com and lastminute.com. Stayz.com had some very interesting homes to rent overnight close to the CBD that started at $125/night for up to 6 people if you're bringing extras or still a cheaper alternative than the CBD hotels. I'm aware of the quality of some of the locations within the CBD and River precinct if you're looking for suggestions. The Astor Hotel starts at $90/night for a standard room to $140 for an apartment it's only 3 stars and is an uphill walk of about 400m from Central Sttn and has cafes to choose from downstairs. The George Williams isn't bad and closer to the Treasury..... anyway food for thought folks. Cheers Indy

So far it is not a cockfest....which it was never meant to be. We seem to have about 7/8 couples coming which I think is AWESOME!!! Um Mrs Splicey darling I've ordered some hot platters and a cheese platter. The restaurant is open until 9.45 for orders. Cheffy's new menu kicks off next Tuesday night and as he said one of his mains start around $50. (Shudder) lol I'll get a copy of the new menu next week and email it to you if you'd like and you can suss it out for yourself. Cheffy has asked the Food & Bev Manager to look after us and there will be other people present besides our kinky crowd. Lol are they in for an interesting night....haha. There are two towers of accommodatio, the Pullman side and the Mercure side. Mercure being slightly cheaper, Cheffy said Saturday night tariffs are reduced but I'll have to chat to reservations and see. All looking good for a fair crowd. OB1 I asked about the wine selection and was told it was "pretty broad" if you like yours out of a brown paper bag I think you may be disappointed BUT I for one think Chandon Moet should be seeved from a brown paper bag, it's dry as a nun's ninny and yuk, just sayin'. Lol 11 sleeps to go!!!

Everyone is welcome....single guys, single girls and the many lovely couples out there. I think by now everyone is well aware that is a friendly no pressure night where everyone can relax in a nice bar/restaurant enjoying some food and a few drinks. If you are lucky enough to hit it off with someone/s on the night and continue the party afterwards then that is fantastic, but if nothing else, at least you will be able to come out and have a good time with like minded individuals and who knows you might just make a new friend or two...

It is a shame that our interstate friends are not able to join us, I think they would have added more fun and colour to the night. But with 54 people registered so far (hopefully at least half of them will show on the night), a lucky door prize donated by a lovely mystery gent (thank you very much) and great food and drinks I think the night will be a great anyway.
