Circumcised or Uncircumcised?

It's been debated, discussed and dissected, on these forums, dozens of times in the past. Interestingly though, a "bun fight" has generally resulted. We prefer circumcised. Cleaner / easier to keep clean & better looking. Not sure if it will feel any different, for the receiving woman during sex (if a condom was worn would probably feel no different to a circumcised penis ?) - Posted from rhpmobile

When its hard, the foreskin doesnt make much difference to me.And condoms, unfortunately, take away a lot of the skin movement for me anyway. So intercourse makes no diference.

Foreskin isn't loose when a bloke is erect anyway?? Also, to the ladies who go bareback, you can't tell the difference between cut and uncut anyway during. Is that right?
-

I've done bareback with both (in long-term relationships that is!) and didn't feel a difference at all. I wasn't even aware vaginal walls can be that sensitive, to be honest I struggle telling ribbed condoms from regular ones once they're inside me.

going get involved with such shallow banter on simple aesthetics of such things. For me its about connection of two souls, the coming together of two minds with compassion, passion and tenderness. .......... Yeah, you know me too well. Im full of shit. Cut like me is nice but happy with whatever comes out of the pants's long as its hard.......

I could never tell the difference with ribbed condoms, they were a waste of time. It seems that this man has an abundance of skin on a somewhat average length cock and perhaps why I can feel it. It's been a really long time since I 'encountered' one! - Posted from rhpmobile

Someone stole my foreskin. I hear they use them for skin grafts these days. The skin is the body's largest organ, so I guess that makes me an organ donor. :,-( - Posted from rhpmobile

As an uncircumcised man I have often asked what the point of circumcision is (avoiding the ethics of it). I keep getting told that it's cleaner. I have seen it said in this string. All I can say is if that is the case it says something about the man not the penis. I can't speak from experience but circumcision must desensitise the thing in question. I am also told with authority that it makes hand jobs worse for both parties. In the act of sex it can't make a difference to the girl surely. My wife thinks uncircumcised dicks are more attractive but that is a matter of opinion. - Posted from rhpmobile

A male posted 'do you prefer innies or outies'? My take is, who cares! I've gotten to know you as a person before I've seen your privates, a little extra skin isn't going to deter me if you've ticked my boxes. In a bigger playgroup, I would have made decisions whether I'm going to have sex with you based on how you've interacted with me/others in the situation before I'd play. So.... a little bit of extra skin, nope, don't care! Mary xx

Any woman that says she prefers cut cock should think of this By saying such a stupid thing you are essentially promoting genital mutilation. Humans and men evolved with a foreskin FOR A REASON. Just like women evolved a clitoris for a reason. Since we live in an "equal" world...........if women keep promoting circumcision then surely they must be for it for WOMEN as well. Afterall that is equality is it not? If you dont want you clit hacked off, stay the fuck away from our foreskins and stop spreading your bullshit myths about it being "better for hygiene" what a load of BULLSHIT. Ironically ive met and played with women who said in their profiles "cut cock only" ......funnily when they saw my erect cock they couldnt tell if i was cut or not as a lot of women cant. So that says a lot about the myth of it "looking better" hahahahahhaha when completely flacid that may be the case, if you like mutilated penises........but when hard most couldnt tell who is cut and who isnt

I very definitely prefer a circumsized man, not only aesthetically, but for play, including oral. So much nicer. I have a playdate preference for couples with biwomen or to play with single biwomen however on the very rare occasions I might want a single male to join us, I would never pick one that wasn't circumsized.

The skin is there to protect the sensitive area of the head ofthe penis and to remove it is just like have a callus on your finger.Even at my age now the sensations generated and feeling everypart inside a woman keeps me harder for longer till I explode.A group of guys and me in high school got a girl to give us a blowjob and Tom and myself cum harder than the others we both had foreskins.Ancient Greek and Roman statues all have there skin and they all lookok plus don't forget it was the Jews as part of religion decided to remove it.I am not able to say what a woman feels but do know that guys withoutforeskin have lost so much sensations and the best way to describe whatthey have lost is to put on a condom and test the difference.

So that says a lot about the myth of it "looking better" hahahahahhaha when completely flacid that may be the case, if you like mutilated penises........but when hard most couldnt tell who is cut and who isnt I understand the 'nature versus mutilation' argument, but you have to take into consideration that foreskins are understood to have been part of the male penis to serve a purpose back when men were foraging through the bush hunting and gathering and our very sensitive bits could be prone to scratching and injury... Something hardly pertinent today... Circumcision (as I'm sure most people know) dates back many thousands of years as a 'religious' ceremony (reasons unknown), firstly Jews and then, as Christianity observed and practiced much of the rituals and Holy observances of Judaism, it became normal for Catholics to be circumcised on the 7th day after birth. This is still practiced to this day. (Also the thought that sons should 'look like Dad' is a consideration, even if not religious). There are very few Catholics of my generation (or any, for that matter) who have not been cut. These days (from a hygiene point of view), provided young boys are taught how to make sure their uncut penises are thoroughly clean (the parents responsibility), all should be well and no embarrassing moments experienced. On top of that, there are a number of men, many of whom I've known, that have problems with their foreskin in their teens, 20's, 30's and so on, whereby it's too tight and causes much pain when they have an erection. This can only be solved by circumcision... (I personally prefer that mine was removed at 6 days, rather than in my 20's or 30's). There are arguments for and against, but I would hardly call it mutilation... As it's a long practiced (thousands of years) observance (mainly religious), but also is gaining acceptance from medicos as a means to prevent common future problems that can so easily be prevented by removing a small part of our body which is no longer pertinent to our existence. Any reputable medical site will also advise that uncircumcised men, for some reason, have a notably higher incidence of penile cancer. Apart from the penile cancer increased risk, a circumcised penis is 10% less likely to pass on HPV (the cause of cervical cancer to women) - Reference "Advances in Urology" - I happen to think it just looks neater and better... But that's a purely personal opinion, shared by many women.Sorry, but that's all good enough for me...

There is a piece written in a blog which is probably the most comprehensive article I have read on the foreskin. Sure it is opinionated, and very lengthy with lots of links to its sources, but fact remains, there isn't much information available on this topic. Google Mad Science Writer Foreskin, and it should appear in the results. For the record and relating back to the OP, I don't have an opinion on people having preferences, but I do hope the practice of circumcision fades into obscurity over the next few generations.

I think we should go back to those times. Hi Meeka, I'm sure we can simply just 'agree to disagree'. WE all have our likes and dislikes and in many cases it's done for good reason. As I said, I don't know what or why it began thousands of years ago, but it did and there will always be those who prefer on way or the other. AS I said... The simple medical facts and risk factors, which are mentioned on more than just the one site I referred to, are enough for me to be ion the side of circumcision... The only thing I DO wish, is that they would use local anesthetic. It's just plain cruel for it to be done without numbing the thing. Thanks...

As foreskin as 4 penis and some on here talks about hygine so , pussy hole bigger then a cock pea hole ,, so wheres the i go less hygine with the pea hole lol The hygiene issue refers to the 'crud' that can gather under the foreskin. Nothing to do with 'holes and sizes of holes'. Unfortunately, some parents have failed their male children and not ensured that they know how important it is for them to wash UNDER the foreskin and this makes for, I believe a horrid collection of a substance called 'smegma' (the cheesy stuff). Never seen it, never want to. But by and large, all uncut men are WELL aware of the hygiene issues and that being the case, there's no problem. If I was a woman (or gay) I wouldn't mind one way or the other. It would, as always with everything, come down to the 'person' rather than ONE single aspect of their physicality...

I know nothing else, so have nothing to compare to, other than what I know and feel. I still have a great time, and if indeed I have lost some sensation over the years, I wouldn't know anyway... One thing I suspect is that it would make for an ability to last longer... I don't see that as a negative at all. But as I've said and will say again... Each to their own. After all, we are what we are, and it's not our fault (one way or the other). It was decided for us and we never had a say. But I can honestly say it has never caused me any concern, nor have I ever suspected that I've lost any sensation at all. Thanks Mate...

" If you dont want you clit hacked off, stay the fuck away from our foreskins and stop spreading your bullshit myths about it being "better for hygiene" what a load of BULLSHIT." We assume, due to your vitriol and obvious anger, that the topic has struck a chord with you? Another uncircumcised male with a chip on his shoulder about being uncircumcised ? We agree with everything that Muso17 has written. Their are countless studies as to the benefits of circumcision. A circumcised penis is much easier to keep clean, as the foreskin is not covering the head/glans (in its flaccid state) and following urination, a few droplets of urine can remain behind and then be covered up by the foreskin. Then there is also smegma to consider (heard the saying "cock cheese" ?) than accumulates under the foreskin and starts to smell, unless carefully and thoroughly cleaned out. Obviously if one was taught, from a young age, to pull back the foreskin when urinating and to perhaps wipe off the tip with a piece of toilet paper, then there will be no problems with accumulation of urine and the associated smells of "wee". Both our children were circumcised at birth (or at least hours after birth). They both slept through the procedure , and received no aneasthetic. Had it been painful for them, surely they would have woken up screaming ? Since then (they are now 11 & 13) there have been no adverse or negative health effects re their circumcisions. Mr Dynamic was also circumcised at birth and he has had no issues at all during his lifetime. We have many friends, and family members, whose male children were not circumcised at birth, and a large % of these have had ongoing problems which have resulted in them / their male children, having to be circumcised later on in life (childhood, teens and as adults) and the post operative pain (at that age) was quit horrendous. It is therefore much safer to err on the side of caution and to take the option that will cause less pain and less complications in the future, and that is to be circumcised at birth. Male circumcision is hardly mutilation, as the removal of the tiny foreskin does not result in any physical damage to the penis nor does it prevent the penis from doing its job (urination/sex/ejaculation) . No one that we know, has ever had any damage and or problems as a result of a professionally, medically done, male circumcision at birth (done in a hospital operating theatre/surgery) . Conversely plenty males that we know have had ongoing medical problems as a result of NOT being circumcised at birth , all of which were sorted out as a result of then being circumcised. Male circumcision cannot be compared to female circumcision. The one involves the removal of a small piece of foreskin, without any pain or negative health effects (providing it is done at birth ). The other is a lot more invasive and involves the removal of the clitoral hood, sometimes even the clitoris and the labia (lips) resulting in recurring health problems for the woman (infections, loss of sexual enjoyment, ongoing pain / pain during sex). Female circumcision is, we understand, a ritual, forced upon women, by men. Male circumcision is not something that women have not forced on anyone, but rather something that informed parents (mother & father) decide upon.So to blame all women for this and to then threaten to 'hack off their clitoris' is really an unacceptable, unfounded outburst, on your part, sxy30sGCguy For this reason female circumcision is seen as mutilation and is subsequently banned in most countries, whereas male circumcision is not. We all have the choice, thank goodness. As parents, we are able to make an informed choice for our children. We ate glad that we had our boys circumcised as we believe we have prevented potential future pain and complications for them. When they are old enough to do their own research, we are certain that they will thank us for the choice that we made. As far as the aesthetics go, with regards a cut / uncut penis, thats a very personal & subjective thing. We personally think that a flaccid, circumcised penis looks a lot nicer & neater than its uncircumcised counterpart. Thats our opinion to which we are entitled. Others may feel differently. We personally do not like tattoos, nor do we like cigarette smoke, nor illicit drugs. Does that make us bad people ? NO. We all have preferences and choices, and thank goodness we are still all able to exercise them. Can you imagine if our freedom of choice was taken away by the government ? Can you imagine the furore, if tattoos were made illegal in australia ? The sh*t would hit the proverbial fan would it not ? Look at what happened when smoking was recently banned in prison .... the riots that resulted cost the taxpayer millions of dollars.. and there is enough proof that smoking causes cancer and premature death.

I am cut and on reflection I think I would prefer to not have been, I didn't get a choice! My father ordered it so us boys (X3) would all look like him. However, as I am cut I think that uncut looks odd and a bit gross. You wouldn't get the same friction with loose skin during penetration but that may also make it a smoother ride? No need for lube if the penis is the only thing experiencing friction internally. I assume that is why we evolved with it, being the only animal with forward facing genitalia we need a little extra protection. GC enhance your calmDC36 nice write up, a touch too long. Love the camel toe pic! No aimed at you specifically... It's for all those who resent the decision made by their parents. Someone else also has something to say about the fact that they had no choice and their parents had (because of this) violated their right to choose later in life... We trust our parents with hundreds (if not thousands of choices that affect our lives far more than whether we have a foreskin or not. Shit... we can't make decisions (informed or otherwise) when we're a few days old or a few years old. Even in out teens, parents, out of concern and with our best interests at heart, make many decisions for us. That's how life works. I suppose, if I wasn't Catholic and my parents hadn't opted for the NORMAL and accepted choice when I was born, I may well be a proponent of 'uncutness'... But I am who I am and it's all said and done. I certainly wouldn't be choosing to be cut at 20 yo because of any conscious decision, even if (as many informative and authoritive websites and books confirm) there is an increased risk for me and for a partner as far as specific diseases and conditions are concerned. To be honest, I've heard some men say that they wish their parents had made the decision to 'cut' as they are having problems (physically) or they just prefer (or their lover prefers) the other. When all is said and done, it's the person attached to the dick that counts... As I'm sure most ladies would agree. As far as the 'Parental Decision' issue is concerned and the fact that they didn't consult you when you were a few days old... That' something you just have to accept. I'm sure that the vast majority of parents made decisions based on what they thought or knew to be the best for their children... They make or made mistakes about other decisions they took on out behalf, again with the very best of intentions, so why 'hang onto' this one like it was the worst thing it ever happened (or didn't happen) to you. There's a saying... "We're all pink inside" and I think it applies here as much as anywhere. But then, specific preferences will always exist, both for women who prefer a certain look or feel and for men who prefer the way they are, as opposed to something that looks 'alien' to them.

Muso17 - Not sure what sort of Catholics you were raised with as the opposite was true in my experience. It was the protestants that were circumcised and the Catholics were left intact which I'm pretty happy about. Just as some women might have a different preference on cock size they may also have a preference on circumcision. Only difference is the majority of circumcised guys had no choice in what was done as opposed to it being au naturel. Only a fool would assume a cock is clean just because it is circumcised.

Then there is also smegma to consider (heard the saying "cock cheese" ?) than accumulates under the foreskin and starts to smell, unless carefully and thoroughly cleaned out. That is a different argument than saying cut cocks are cleaner. Yes, might take two seconds more in the shower to remove urine, smegma and lost car keys from underneath a foreskin. The humanity! I'm sure my scalp would be easier to keep clean if I gave it a "number 1" make-over, but just because I have hair doesn't mean my head is dirtier. If a man has a dirty cock, it says something about his cleaning habits, not his foreskin. Can you imagine if our freedom of choice was taken away by the government ? Yes I can, considering you are clearly showing what it's like when parents take it away from their kids.

We all have pubic hair and it MUST be there for a reason (according to the reasoning of the 'uncut proponents'). Are we dabbling dangerously with nature by having it removed "Permanently"? According to some, we are and have all the things we have for a reason and they shouldn't be removed or change din any way... (The appendix springs to mind, which is proven to be a useless and non-purpose-serving organ, although at some point in our evolution it may have been important... a second stomach has been suggested). I'm just attempting to demonstrate that JUST BECAUSE something is there, doesn't mean it is NOW important, or serves any kind of useful purpose... and in some cases, can be the source of problems that can be solved and forgotten about by removal of the offending 'bit'... In our modern day and age, at this stage of our evolution, having come the few million years we have, there is bound to be the odd thing that no longer plays a part in our physical needs.

just curious, have you ever read up on how sensitive the foreskin is? How many nerve endings it has? Maybe you are missing out on something you are unaware of? - Posted from rhpmobile

I guess that point makes it less analogous to the clitoral hood as well, unless it has as many nerve endings as your finger tip. - Posted from rhpmobile

Quoting 'Unrushed1' just curious, have you ever read up on how sensitive the foreskin is? How many nerve endings it has? Maybe you are missing out on something you are unaware of? - Posted from rhpmobile I have read up and asked questions etc... and am well aware. I'm naturally inquisitive. But the fact remains, I will never know and you can't miss what you don't know... All I can say is, I have a wonderful time and I aim to give a wonderful time... Beyond that, I can't know. I suppose it's just human nature for us to be 'FOR' what we are and know, rather than against. But as I've stated, there are proven disadvantages too... So, it can be a double edged sword, for some. Thanks for pointing out what I may not have been ware of, but I am... Cheers

Fuck me, I've run out of chips Firstly I don't have a foreskin to care more about... and I also would no more harm a fellow human than I would my foreskin (if I had one)... I'm a happy, peaceful man who helps anyone I can when ever I can. Thanks

Quoting 'allgoodfun42' Muso17 - Not sure what sort of Catholics you were raised with as the opposite was true in my experience. Christ was a Jew and Christians (Catholics, as there were no Protestants until the 16th century) followed many of the Jewish traditions and observed their holidays ('Holy Days')... Hence we have Easter, Holy Thursday being The Passover (the last supper was Christ performing the Passover with the Apostles). The Catholic (or Christian after the Reformation) recognizes the Tora (Jewish Scriptures) as the Old Testament, up till the time of Christ. And yes... circumcision being a Jewish observance (no reason found), it was adopted by the Catholics, but when the Reformation occurred in the 16 century, protestants chose to do whatever they decided. It's been an accepted religious observance since the first Christians, who were, as explained, Catholics (which simply means 'Universal'). This is what I understand to be the history and truth of the matter (not that is DOES matter... Each to their own). I remember it well as it was BASHED into me for 13 years by wonderful, merciful, understanding Nuns, Brothers and Priests... LOL. There may be other versions of how and when and where all this came about. The fact is Christ, being a Jew, was circumcised. The ceremony is documented in the New Testament... Reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feast_of_the_Circumcision_of_ChristThe feast day appears on 1 January in the liturgical calendar of the Eastern Orthodox Church.[4] In the General Roman Calendar, the 1 January feast, which from 1568 to 1960 was called "The Circumcision of the Lord and the Octave of the Nativity", is now named the solemnity of Mary the Holy Mother of God and the Octave Day of the Nativity of the Lord. It is celebrated by some churches of the Anglican Communion and virtually all Lutheran churches.

Don't think Annie aimed that at you, but I totally agree with her. It's a topic that keeps raising its ugly head (pun intended), and it does surprise me how passionate some people are about an inch of loose skin or lack thereof.

Wasnt aimed at anyone in particular and wasn't talking about harm. More the opposite. If they put the passion toward their fellow men and women as in caring instead of a stupid bit of skin that may or not be there. And the ridiculous comments about parents making unjustified decisions about said piece of skin. As though how dare they. For fuck sake. They could have decided not to have you altogether. Where that leave your stupid foreskin. Without a dick attached.

Without a dick attached. also over this topic, but I don't think it's appropriate to belittle the guys expressing their personal feelings about being circumcised. You may think it's a trivial issue but obviously they don't, and since it's their body I think telling them how they should feel about it is just a little arrogant. There's also no basis to say that just because they care about foreskins, that they don't care about other people. They aren't actually mutually exclusive, and we humans are able to care about multiple things at the same time.

Yes l am expecting a hammering when the overnight posts come up. I just find it amusing the amount of debate on it. Expressed so passionately by guys that only know 1 side of the arguement. Would only be 0.1% of guys that truly know what with and without feel like. We have what we have. They both do the same job Just learn how to use it to best effect for yourself and your partner. If lamenting over your foreskin or lack off is a big deal to you, you are doing well. Most have bigger issues to deal with. Let it go........or let go of it.......

Sorry to drag this on more than has been said, but the issue is not lamenting the loss of a missing piece of tissue, but the fact that this unnecessary practice is still being conducted on a large large scale, and the pseudo-science being babbled about in defence of its continuation. Why not cut of your eyelids to avoid conjunctivitis? You don't need a spleen. Remove it. As for aesthetics, sure people can have their preferences, but if I were to state in my profile 'No saggy tits, no jelly belly, no visible inner pussy lips. There's surgery for that these days', it would not be received very well at all. - Posted from rhpmobile

I can't believe how many replies this thread has generated, didn't realize this was such a big issue. Seems nonsensical. For what it's worth... I'm uncut and have never had a problem with hygiene. It's basic personal hygiene. I've never had any of the women or men I've slept with comment either way whether they prefer cut or uncut. It's never, ever been an issue and I've always been indifferent either way as well. From a purely physical point of view, I'd prefer that my partner is shaved/waxed/lasered instead of whether they are cut or uncut. I would assume many others would be the same. How does the subject become an issue anyway? So when you are getting naked, someone stops because they are cut or uncut? What?! - Posted from rhpmobile

So, surprising as it may be... We discuss things, whether people think they are a 'non-issue' or not. I'm sure no-one has ever 'stopped' when they saw a cut or uncut cock... But that doesn't make it unimportant to some and it certainly doesn't mean people have to take a consensus every time they post a question or opinion, to see if they're going to be 'shut down' by the 'nay-sayers'... Discussion Forum = Discuss and exchange views. The fact that they differ, makes it interesting and pertinent.

Quoting 'Meander' I've done bareback with both (in long-term relationships that is!) and didn't feel a difference at all. I wasn't even aware vaginal walls can be that sensitive, to be honest I struggle telling ribbed condoms from regular ones once they're inside me. I believe that the vaginal walls have little to no nerve endings in there. Mrs D had a vaginal polyp removed with no local anesthetic. Watching her tell a friend about it was hilarious the other woman's jaw dropped as she crossed her legs while listening to it...

Perhaps someone has said this befor already! But... To say that an uncut penis is "less" hygienic than a circumcised one is ridiculous! It is as ridiculous as to say that the skin of labias make a vagina less clean!!! What a stupid argument! The vast majority of European men as uncut... they wash it, end of the hygiene argument! If you don't want to be bothered cleaning it with soap under the shower, then perhaps you SHOULD be cut, but that is not going to make you more hygienic! With a condom, zero difference in sensation, doing oral presents differences in my opinion... I guess it depends on preferences... For me uncut is more oral fun, as I feel it is like unwrapping a lolly... Besides ethically I don't see why mutilating something that has an important mechanical function, when the procedure had initially merely a religious and moral background anyway... Unless you are Jewish, I would not mess with nature's perfect penis design... Lol... On the other hand, I would never reject or choose a partner on that account, it was not their choice if they were cut as infants, it is like making a woman feel inadequate because she has small breasts... Not her fault... E

As an uncut male I spent my younger years embarrassed of not being circumcised. But as I got older and became sexually active it didn't bother me. Then once I started experimenting with males I was surprised at how many men are uncut. Ihave never had anything negative said to me about my penis from any sexual partner. Only ever compliments. I do think being uncut makes my penis more sensitive. My personal hygiene is excellent and my penis is probably the cleanest part of my body, I spend the majority of my time in the shower washing it ;-) I personally don't have a preference in regards to being cut or uncut, just as I don't have a preference in regards to breast size. I'd prefer a great personality over physical attributes. But I really can't get over the number of women who state they only want guys that are cut. I would never exclude someone from being a possible partner for something so trivial. Do these women realise they could be missing out on the man of their dreams for the sake of a bit of skin?

My parents decided for me and my brother as a infant, as per usual in the day. When I became a dad and discussed to do or not to with the Dr he just declined to do it. He said times had changed and there were no real bennifits as prviously claimed in previous generations and so it was taken as it's not done anymore and was left at that. When the time comes (to young now) I'll have a conversation with our kids and let them know the situation at the time of being infant, for them to understand how things unfolded (pardon the pun) and to be informed so if their is a issue for them or partners about it the starting point is as parents we did ask about and took advise of the day. I found the reading interesting on those that do have a foreskin so when that time comes I have some other info to share with them, thanks for those comments. Finally, I don't agree about female circumcision in comparison, there should be no discussion or consideration for female circumcision other it being barbaric and totally out lawed then never spoken of ever again. Cheers
