And I'm guessing most won't want to comment..... Here's my theory: larger ladies are quite possibly just a little more self indulgent, a little more into doing what gives them pleasure, this can extend across many categories, food, alcohol, gambling, smoking and sex. It's a personality trait that will be consistent across their whole life. This lady is happier to relinquish control and go with the sensation......do what feels good. A very slim and toned lady will often be very disciplined in her life. This also extends across most areas of her life. She likes to have control of her environment. These ladies often find it difficult to let go of that control. Recent studies have shown that a problem gambler for instance will often also have a drinking problem or a weight issue. Although sex wasn't a direct part of this study it's easy to surmise that the same type of personality link may exist between weight and sex. I take offence to this simply because I'm a 'thin lady' and my partner constantly tells me I'm to loud and that half the apartment complex does not need to hear about our sex life. I have NEVER been quiet when it comes to sex unless due to some circumstance I have to be e.g. people staying at our place. Even then I find it really really hard to be quiet and I have to quiet literally bite my arm hard to muffle the sound lol Also in regards to thinner ladies not being adventurous just have a look in my toy draw I'm sure the gags, restraints, paddles, nipple clamps, dildos, anal train set, restraints and the various other items would make some people seriously re-think this classification. While I'm not angry over this forum post I just find it annoying that people stereotypically judge people based on their appearance. I have known all sorts of people in my short sexual life from swingers to BDSM hardcores, to fetishists, vanillas and transgenders. I have never judged anyone based on their kinks, sexuality or type. There are quite a few potential confounders when you attempt to do so, for example I'm assuming in those studies that the people's weight issues were as a result of a problematic relationship with food most likely with poor impulse control and an underlying psychosocial issue as the fundamental causes...similar to what you see with problem gambling / drinking. But it certainly can't be said that all people who are overweight have those issues with over-eating; it is much more complex than that. Also you would have to test whether how experimental a woman is sexually, is an equivalent to a drinking / gambling problem. I'm not sure that it would be, unless you start getting into sex addiction levels where their activities are actually being driven by some underlying psychological issue, and are impinging on their everyday functioning. If you're just at the level of enjoying sex a lot, and being willing to explore and be loud, well I would want to see some separate research done on that specifically before I'd be willing to make assumptions about a) whether size does play a role and b) if it does, what is the extent of that influence.

Both men and women, have a perception of how they need to be, how they're supposed to act. This could very well be what you're talking about. Porn for example. All these people jumping up and saying this isn't true! I'm skinny or have been with skinny people who were overly loud! This is a generalisation people. So of course there are exceptions to the rule and all your own experiences will be different depending on your own exposure to the subject field, however just crying bullshit scientifically helps noone. I believe kaleidescopes observation was intriguing and made sense in the current situation. Its not often i go "Ahhhh!" from being confronted with a hypothesis that not only fits the situation but makes sense giving food for thought so to speak. I myself have experienced the same, the best and loudest sex i have had was from a larger woman. She gave it all and was almost insatiable. Appetite is appetite though really so it would make sense those that hunger for indulgences also like to indulge in sex. The lady in question i was with had 400-450 partners apparently so her appetite is apparent. However the thinner 'hotter' chicks i've been with have been less experienced, less exciting and less confident. If only to meet someone who had found a balance ;). Personally I have found that it does not matter about the external size but rather how much they are enjoying it. Some are louder than others but they have other traits that are just as enjoyable. The sound of a woman enjoying her self is one that has an animalistic effect on me and I would dare say most men agree. Maybe, you are naturally attracted to larger women, therefore maybe the way you feel and express sexual desire is more driven with a stronger sense of lust. Maybe that is sensed by the larger ladies and they do not feel out of place when with you. I think that louder and playful sex comes more down to feeling absolutely comfortable and lesser of the insecurities, in that some people seem to be a bit cruel by more than likely shifting all focus from their own self-conscious doubts. Projecting the ridicule towards others as a way for avoiding more self obsessed faults, (paranoia). Selfish behaviour may be sensed as the difference. I didn't make a sweeping statement, I merely quoted some recent research (2013) that has just been published by a professor at CQU about how there is a direct correlation between sociopsychological behaviours such as gambling, alcoholism and over eating. I'm not making generalisations or encouraging stereotypes (although in truth stereotypes happen because there is a noticeable trend even though there may be variances and unique cases) If you aren't happy to have generalisations or stereotypes in your life God forbid that you should need to see a doctor. How do you think he diagnoses you? What about a psychologist? Yes that's correct they often need to rely initially on generalisations. Same with treatment plans. Yes, we are all individuals, I myself am a larger lady and I do not understand why women get so sensitive about weight. It is a fact, I am over weight because I consume more energy than I burn, if I want this to change I must change my behaviour. It is no ones choice or fault but my own.Why be sensitive about that....it's a choice I'm actively making every time I put food in my mouth or not going to the gym.Do I lack for sex or male attention........not that I've noticed.Are there men and women out there who do not find me attractive. Ofcourse there are. Is that an issue for me? Only if I make it one.I choose not to....hell I'm not attracted to everyone I meet either, large or small.

Yes but a generalisation can not be applied to everyone. And certainly you would agree that someone's weight would have nothing to do with what they are like in bed. Another generalisation which I hear a lot is that really good looking people are selfish and boring in bed because they think turning up is all they have to do. So just because there is a general belief about something doesn't make it true.

I've had larger lovers and I've had men of a finer build. Some delightful and some less so.I personally have not found size to be a predictor as to how considerate they are, how good the experience was/is or how quickly or loudly they cum. But then.......I'm not looking for commonalities either. I prefer to treat each person as an individual and enjoy each experience for it's uniqueness. Both bigger and smaller women are sick of being defined by their body shape rather than who they are. Women are sensitive about it because there is a whole lot of crap that women are told, by their families, the community and the media, from a young age about their bodies. All of the stereotypes are negative, whatever the size... Have you noticed that? Thin girls uptight, big girls lazy, thin women control freaks, fat girls no self control... Bah!! It's been shown many times that people are much more likely to believe something based on their own personal experience, and will often continue to state that case even if they are shown evidence that their experience differs to the actual 'average' or 'norm' for the population as a whole. Personal experience is what the OP's opinion is based on, we don't know if it's actually true for the whole population - I doubt that it is - but maybe some very keen researcher out there can start a study on it (ethics approval may be a tad difficult to obtain though...).

It's unfathomable to me for anyone to be able to determine the truth of such things. Even scientific tests are limited to random groups that rarely enter the thousands of participents so it's pure luck if the outcome manages to represent the reality of things regarding the whole. Life will always be full of uncertainties it seems. Aslong as we don't stop searching for the answers. To go back to the original post. It was an observation from a bloke that from his experience that the larger women he had sex with were more vocal.... a scientific experiment ...no! We don't know the size of the sample, his definition of larger - he is the only constant. From that, I have had smaller and larger women who have been vocal. But I would have to say that ALL the larger women were vocal. Why? I don't know, I just enjoyed the time with them and was glad they enjoyed it. All that said the sample has not been a huge number.

Ah but no Coops...there are many 'rules' for scientific studies, that govern population selection, sampling of that population, and statistical analysis techniques - basically the study design. If the study has a good design, it can generate a sample mean that is very close to the population mean. If this weren't the case there would be no point in doing research. Although the actual stats and numbers behind it all are quite dry, the concepts are interesting (well, I find them to be, but I am a little strange ).

Women are sensitive about it because there is a whole lot of crap that women are told, by their families, the community and the media, from a young age about their bodies. All of the stereotypes are negative, whatever the size... Have you noticed that? Thin girls uptight, big girls lazy, thin women control freaks, fat girls no self control... Bah!! People are who they are... Sometimes it's genetics or intergenerational bad habits but I refuse to be defined by my size. THANK YOU, you are indeed awesome!

Of course you are and you have no need to defend your opinion. This is a forum. A forum is a place were people come together and discuss their idea's and opinions. No one idea/opinion is truly ever right, nor is it wrong. However it is designed to enable a larger diversity of opinions/idea's to come together thus provoking a larger more varied thought process and the individual makes of it what they will. Don't allow others to force their opinions upon you in here as that is completely counter-intuitive of what the forum medium is in place to achieve. Continue to assert and share your opinion and consider the opinions of others with an open mind but disregard outright single minded hostility. It is neither necessary nor is it of any actual consequence to yourself. On my own personal note.. I kind of feel like a bit of a self indulgent twat after properly utilising my brain to write posts like that... It's been so long since i've had anyone personally engage my mind to such an extent.. Weight has nothing to do with sex. Fat, slim, muscular and skinny people all have sex. Why? Because it's human, it's threaded through the core of our DNA, and everyone enjoys sex.

There is a reason why humans are unique compared to other species - in how we can procreate and reproduce almost every day of the year. As opposed to a select number of days. I agree that a huge portion of people have not yet reached the pinnacle of their sexuality and enjoyment. But that has to do with zeitgeist - e.g. the things that shape our sexual understanding, education, culture, parenting, porn, etc. I will also add, everyone is capable of enjoying sex. And weight does not come into that equation.

I stand behind my comment. There is a huge portion of the population, women in particular, who do not enjoy sex for a variety of reasons from traumatic experiences through to religious beliefs and upbringing. I too believe they are capable of enjoying sex, doesn't mean they ever will. It's easy to forget that the women on here are a skewed sample. - Posted from rhpmobile
