You can tell which women are actually looking to meet and which ones are there for their two minutes of fame. The red headed lady is beautiful inside and out.The one that they showed looking for her luggage needs to take her batteries out because she is totally wired. Foxxy.. I applied to the riverfm speed dating night, that sounds like fun :D (hint hint - you should too :D)

Isn’t Married at first sight and similar the first step in getting an entertainment industry gig now? It’s a big no from me, Mrs Frisky on the other hand spent some time on a similar show before we met and is far more open to the idea.

Let's face it, we would all marry Jules the red head, but as far as going on the show, I'd only do it for shits and giggles, just to meet some of the lunatics on there, otherwise I prefer to find my partners on crap dating sites...that's where I met my gorgeous hubby 😍 Ms Red

Long story short, Mrs Frisky signed up for one of those well known “looking for love” reality TV shows on a whim after being dared by a housemate. She got a callback the next day and thought “why not”. After a bunch of personal questions (like “are there any nude photos of you circulating around the internet” 🤭), they flew her over east where she got to hang out with a great bunch of girls in a big house for a week, before being quietly not chosen and meeting me instead 😜 She tried to talk me into signing up for one of those Reno shows a little while back 🙅🏻‍♂️

I couldn't marry someone I was with for 27 years, never mind someone I just met. But I do love to watch it. Yes I know, it's trashy tv at its best but it's easy going to watch. I'm the saddo who watches all these type of programs. Even the dating naked show 😀

Yes I know, it's trashy tv at its best but it's easy going to watch. I'm the saddo who watches all these type of programs. Even the dating naked show 😀 These trashy shows are just for that purpose. Sure, it costs nothing to produce, just stick a camera in front of a bunch of people and watch. We all have trials, tribulations, real world problems......Some on a daily basis. Nothing better than something we can laugh about, or more importantly not think about.......Unwind from the real world whilst feeling warm and fuzzy, whether its dancing with the stars, My kitchen rules, Survivor, Farmer wants a goat etc.But its also a fantastic way to "dumb down" a country. Which affords us the likes of Trump, or our equivalent.... Palmer.

If there’s anything worse than an arranged marriage. This show sums it up. Relationships take time but once you say those vows. That’s inviting essentially a total stranger who you probably have nothing in common with to steal your house, car and everything you’ve worked hard for. In my case copped a live round in the Middle East for.

Yeah.... I'd do it! √ $$$

We can all be judgy wudgy but we all have our little quirks..I had a housemate who could watch eight hours of fishing shows..I love Fake or Fortune..I used to watch MKR,a couple of seasons of MAFS,The Block ,Masterchef etc.But eventually the predictability factor was a turn off. Do these program's have a dumbing down affect? I doubt it..they are just entertainment,if you want to increase your IQ listen to Mozart. Hugs Q

I really don’t think the idea is for these ‘unions’ to become permanent...its a voyeuristic television program.....full stop. Could be lucky and engineer a perfect match BUT out of 10000 applicants...they go out of their way to match interstate people...city with country....cross ethnic borders etc etc. It’s really designed to tittilate and entertain...the participants I’m sure learn more about themselves via this than they imagined...some have a springboard to financial opportunities in the media etc Viewers can gain sociological and psychologically insights into human behaviour...I suspect that’s why the 3 ‘matchmakers’ apart from the big bucks offered.

pointed out how this year's picks seemed particularly callous with vulnerable people including the virgin, the foster child and Ning who was sent on a honeymoon to a place she'd admitted was was abandoned from. Just the crux of questionable care factor by the show. Saw a glimpse of the show last night, cringed and moved on feeling like the story I'd read nailed it. Peachy

All go on it for fame. Surely if someone is that attractive (blonde girl with asshole brother) and (The "Most beautiful man") they have no issues meeting people. They just want to increase their profile. In saying that. I watch it cos it makes me feel better about my 2 failed marriages (MrDo). Miss Do has never been married and we are keeping it that way. "Maybe when I'm 94 and I'm on my death bed" - Miss Do.

This years bunch all have bloody issues. Clearly they were picked for dramas. Heidi is needy as hell Ning is a mole. Why go onto a show if you aren’t even going to give it ago Mike is a solid 12 out of 10 up himself Would I do it ? Hell yeah no not I’ll create the drama and get my 15 mins of fame lol plus can’t be any worse then real life dating. Actually probably might be better than real life dating lol

I love reality tv. Not exactly sure why ? Had auditioned for Big Brother multiple times and made it through to the network panel of selectors last time. Also ended up in Zoo magazine some years ago at the ripe old age of 48 for a BB promotion voted by the public. I’m very comfortable with who I am and sit in my skin well. Plus always looking to new adventures. I would go on Married at First Sight no problem at all.

Well I did it to be honest. My wife and I had an arranged marriage. We met at her place with our families and after one meeting decided to get married. Its been a roller coaster ride ever since and even though the love still exists after 13 years, the list has gone missing. But in India, there are a lot of people who do this even today and it's very common.

  • MsSuperFoxy

I agree with you. There are lots of successfully arranged marriages within the Australian community. I know as in my circle of friends, there is couple whose families have arranged. The couples are very happy. Together they make it work. Ms Foxy
