That title brought to you by the term 'Click Bait'.Though, it's not just a cynical use of sensationalism to play upon people's natural curiosity and entice them to click on my post, it is both a topic that is of interest to me, and after reading a couple of posts here, a topic that is of interest to most people.So, Sluts. Commonly thought of as a derogatory word for women who actively pursue and enjoy, and/or are vocal about the pursuit and/or enjoyment of sex.Women who like to fuck, in other words. Women who like to fuck lots of people.The term is an expressly derogatory word for women, as while it is used for men - sometimes in an attempt to be also derogatory - it does not have the same effect for men as it does for women. Indeed, one can happily use the word at any man, and be answered with an, at worst, sheepish grin. Typically it would be met with a sense of pride.Back to the post: Sluts = Women who like to fuck.The derogatory nature of this has long been something that has puzzled me. Why do we put women who enjoy sex down, in this manner - particularly as men?To me, don't most men want women to have sex with them? In which case, why would we put down a woman who shares the same point of view: i.e. Sex is great and I should be having more, often. That is, in discouraging this behaviour through the denigration of women who engage in the pursuit of sex, are men not just ruining it for themselves, by firstly shaming said women into being less open about sex, and in the process discouraging other women from being more open about their sexuality, and their enjoyment of it?Why then do men call women who also pursue sex sluts?The answer, it seems to me to be, like many examples of similar bullying behaviour to be more about the insult-or, rather than the insult-ee. To me, when men call women sluts, its not because those women are having sex, per se...... it is because those women are not having sex with the men in question, specifically.That is, the use of the word slut, and the whole notion behind it is largely just one big case of sour grapes. Oh, she likes to fuck, but she's not fucking me - she's a slut. To me, there is no such thing. Or, there should not be, for anyone. For a number of reasons, but for any guys reading this that have found themselves thinking like this, or do in fact think like this, let's just take the most obvious and selfish one for now - let's just think of our own dicks. I'm sure we can manage that.Ok, so - you're reading this post, which means you're on RHP, which means you're actively looking for sexual partners: casual, not so casual, whatever. Women who are active about the pursuit and enjoyment of sex are as a result your favourite people. Their behaviour of seeking out sexual partners, and enjoying sex is a behaviour YOU WANT TO ENCOURAGE, and encourage, regardless of whether you are going to directly benefit from a particular person or not. The reason is, while you may not get that little hottie you just messaged/hit on at a bar or whatever, through encouraging - or at least NOT ACTIVELY DISCOURAGING IT - said behaviour, you will encourage a culture where women are able to feel more able to express themselves sexually, which means that more women will make themselves more available to your amazing amazingess, and thus eventually you will get laid.By calling women sluts for enjoying sex, you are making it less likely for you to get more sex.Bottom line: Sex is fucking rad, for many, many reasons. We should be encouraging more of it, not making it culturally difficult in a childish, petulant fit of inadequacy.There are no sluts. There are only women who will not have sex with you.But, chin up, there are still some left who will. Only you can fuck this up for you.

i wouldnt call a woman a slut even in anger. HOWEVER, during hard sex if a woman was in to talking dirty she would hear the 'slut', 'whore', and some other choice words alot and i expect and would even enjoy the same treatment in return.but that is just me

Personally I don't understand why some people need to use such language as slut or c_ _ t, I really hate that it's so disgusting. I enjoy sex like anybody else & wish I could get more lol if I did perhaps I'd be labeled as a slut, damn hahaha.

Hi! Innerwest Thanks for your Interesting and Informative thread.. Maybe we don't mix with the same people because I rarely here that Nasty Term.. Really it dates back way before the Victorian times but I'll start there. As you know according to the dictates of Society in the past mainly but is still prevalent in certain Cultures." a Woman s Place is in the home being the dutiful Wife and Mother." "Men only wed good girls who are virgins" ha! ha! Good Luck! finding them in vast numbers.. That works well for a Male if the Wife isn't skilled she wouldn't know how inept he is as a Lover if she'd had no experience with others ha! ha! Guys have 2 standards and due to conformity tend to distance themselves from Females who tend to indulge in sexual sessions with many Lovers are Women tainted as in the Bible. Not desirable in any other way as they don't conform to what Society expects from Women.... Their view is A Woman to want and indulge in sex openly is a Cardinal Sin against Man, Nature and Religion. The Females deemed as sluts do have many Lovers but... Unlike Prostitutes they're not generally paid for their services.. Don't necessarily enjoy sex with many Partners. They do it for various reasons 1 main cause it's a self worth issue. A need to be loved. Unfortunately those poor girls are looking in all the wrong places , getting a rep, "Sluts are for fucking discarding" , not for an Attatchment. They rarely attain that elusive Love /Romance they desperately seek.... This term doesn't really apply to Sexually Liberated Females who know who they are and are secure in themselves and their Sexuality do tend to be selective with their Lovers.. I recently had a slightly differently worded profile....well quite differently worded...I was the same age as I am now but no profile pic.....I have been here on and off for eighteen months and NEVER before have I received sooo many explicitly sexual messages.often from men that had contacted me previously....what I thought was mildly humorous and not to be taken at all seriously was like catnip to many men...in their eyes SLUTS obviously RULE OK
