If its about anything & everything, now nothing, and it cant go off topic........why? Ive looked and found this "If a topic starts to attract negative posts (reported to us or otherwise), we will do our best to remove the posts in question rather than kill the entire topic but if things get out of hand, we will either lock the topic or simply remove the thread if it is relatively new and has not had a huge response. " So how come posts/threads from a particular person that always seems to attract negative responses, sees the light of day and flies? Is there a serial mod reporter residing within the forums? I'm having a Sgt Shultz moment............Colonel Hogan, I know nuuthing.......mmm Nuuuthing

Im liking the cruisy mood of the forums lately. Very chilled out, lots of funny banter. Ppl seeing the funny side of things. Keeping it light and easy. Not in a diet way. Lol. Think it was getting pretty stressy and a lot of ppl have stopped posting over the last few weeks because it was getting too wired around here. Just my perception.

A bit late but it may help for next time. Buy a bag of marbles, dump then in a container big enough to put your feet in and add warm/hot water and epsom salts. Soak your feet in this and rub them over the marbles for a foot massage. Not as good as having your feet in someone's lap and their warm hands massaging oil in and the soreness out but a half decent substitute.

Nothing to do with the thread. It's the content. If the thread is going down a dark road and malicious posts are put up then it will be edited or deleted. They have said it before. A lot of the time a post is misinterpreted or wrongly worded. Once its in black and white, its out there. But human nature at times to react too quickly instead of sitting back for a few minutes and thinking about it.

I can be a little cheeky and sometimes people may misinterpret me (apparently my lack of emojis is to blame).....But I don't normally comment on things that are obviously put out by people to upset/offend/get a reaction out of. There are a few posters here (and some in chat) that appear to only stir the pot for their own silly amusement. In my opinion, reacting to them only fuels them on. If they don't get the attention they so desperately crave they will get bored and leave. My advice, let it go and engage with those you find interesting and want to get to know better.

Temple Grandin is wonderful Freya I first came across her in a documentary she made on her hugbox invention. She used her cows (as strangely cattle have Autistic tendencies) in an animal crush to calm them. Inspirational woman and quote. So here's one I came across a while back that you may like Freya. Quoting 'willowtree_2' I like neil, bit nasally but grew up listening to his Harvest album, needle and the damage done, old man... Great songs. But not everyones cup of tea. Have to agree with Freya, I find his voice is a bit annoying. One of my favourite CSNY songs is Country Girl and I really wish it had been sung by Steven Stills. I love Steven Still's For What It's Worth that was recorded by Buffalo Springfield. So much good stuff in the Sixties! And now I'm reminded of Venus, that I played for a colleague the other day when I told her it was by Dutch band Shocking Blue (1968) and she kept arguing Bananarama wrote it. Grrr. (That's like people thinking White Lion were responsible for Radar Love, instead of Dutchies Golden Earring who wrote it in 1973.)

Bananarama. Yeah golden earing's radar love is a classic. Havent heard the other version.the youngsters only know the covers. Reminds me when my youngest son was about 10, he played me a song. Said,"mum youve gotta hear this new song. Its awesome." It was queens We will rock you, covered by a boy band. Told him it was a very old song and he didnt believe me till I played the original for him.
