Doing my accounts and invoicing late at night, TV playing in thr background with 'keeping up with the Kardashians' made compulsive viewing. Like watching a trainwreck about to happen. Lol 😁 How did these twats manage to get on TV and stay on there for so long. aside from their massive arses and egos , there's not much going for them. Great marketing team behind the show.

Im about 60 kays south of Port Hedland at the moment...and im sitting outside, sipping a VB, and watching a lightning storm in the distance put on a rocking light show. The thunder has just started to rumble, and the air around me was being sucked towards it before, but has now gone almost still. I'm waiting for that almighty CRACK to happen next. ☺☺☺

I love watching lightning ⚡ and hearing thunder. Nothing like mother nature putting us in our place while she puts on an almighty show of mesmerising primal power. I am always spellbound with those moments. Best experience was hiking in the Victorian Alps, weather changed very quickly and we took shelter under the trees. Thunder and lightning overhead. It felt so close we felt both in awed and helpless, resigned to nature. Like sitting next to the drum section in an symphony orchestra playing Beethoven's thundering symphony..

I remember when we were kids all huddled indoors staring out of our windows watching the lightning followed by the thunder We used to play the game of guessing how far away was the lightning by counting the number if seconds the thunder cam be heard right after the lightning. My mom taught us that the lightning was a mile away for every 5 seconds counted from the time the thunder is heard after seeing a lightning strike. Csn anyone remember doing this when you were young? Secretly, I still do. 😊
