Menopause just means you can play every day of the month. Don't use it you will lose it so what better reason to those undies down. Best tunes are played on old instruments. And the weather is perfect. A far cry from the boat l was steering up the freeway in Melbs.......

Went to a shrink a couple months ago...Said "Doc... I got an issue... I am being a bit of a cunt... and everyone is telling me I have a superiority complex... - can you suss me out or something please?"Well... Bugger me.. he did some tests all right...Most complicated shit I have ever seen.HE sent me to a shrink hospice thing... gathered a heap of his peers and colleagues around and had THEM test me... plugged me into all kinds of machines... tried to trick me and simulate situations to get me "Happening.."THEN wrote scientific papers on it all...ANYWAY.. today: Early this morning actually, he called.."Cavey ol' man, ol' mate" he says..."We have your results... one of the most comprehensive test patterns we have EVER run.""Your situation was ... Well... we had never encountered it before.."Then.. THIS.."Cavey. You do NOT have a "superiority complex" - you GENUINELY are Superior" So.. there you all have it.. You may all kiss my superior walnut cracking arse..Just sayin'..

surely grown adults don't have to toss the baby out with the bathwater and have threads closed for no good reason - I think it was garbage moderation to close the thread too. Anyway, to more happy matters: I filled myself up with hot and spicy Korean chicken from Sparrow's Mill on Liverpool St, they are to korean chicken what El Jannah is to a charcoal chook. Extra radish, one is never enough. I make no apologies for inducing uncontrollable cravings for hot spicy sauce, crunchy coated chicken, or the cool pickled radish. (not on the same level, but I also must stop by the custard puff window in China town whenever they're open. What self-respecting RHP'er would say no to those delicious hot balls that burst creamy goodness in your mouth?) What other Sydney "must eats" are there that I will become deliciously addicted to?

S on The Loose I definitely say yes to those balls. Delicious. Every time I go to Sydney I wait in the line. 👍 But the chicken sounds next level. I miss Sydney food. day here in Perth today. Warm and a bit humid, overcast. Beach was calm, water crystal clear, heaven. One of those days I had to remind myself I still needed sunscreen even though the cloudy conditions take away the bite of the sun, the UV was high. But another perfect day in paradise. I do love Perth 😘

Based on your forecasts, definitely time to hang back then as they may all be coming out of the woodwork, if not already out. I'd be curious if any credible scientific research exists on the effects of full moon on people's behaviour? and those types predisposed to changes or exacerbated behaviour due to varying lunar cycles? I'd better batten down then and work overtime on my spreadsheets and reports to pay for expensive Christmas presents and holidays coming up. Ruby, lol on the puppet masters...

I don't know if there's been credible research on the moon and human behaviour, but the concept of it makes some sense, I've thought. The idea that, as the moon( or its gravity, rather ) is responsible for the tides on our planet...pulling the oceans as it orbits...then it could be doing the same to the fluids in an animal brain. It sounds logical, I suppose.

Any nurse will tell you that they know its coming up to a full moon due to the behaviour of some of their clients. Never a quiet night!! It sounds logical, I suppose.

Quoting 'ruby_blossum' Our bodies are something like 70% fluid..... seems to me that is a strong tidal pull with a full moon, maybe even moreso with a Super Moon. you know that gravity from the moon doesn't just affect water, right? It pulls on _everything_, but the water in the sea/lakes isn't constrained so it can move... fluid in your body is pretty well constrained. If the earth was one big frictionless smooth round surface, if you put a ball on it, it would get dragged around following the moon.
-

...Yep... do have the basic understanding of gravity. I was just doing my best to keep it simple ...with a little levity.
