I've just hit the ground after catching the red eye home. One of my kids rang me to say "welcome home", and to tell me that she missed me - she had been up early stalking my social media to see when I was active again, so she knew when I was off the plane! It made my heart happy. - Posted from rhpmobile

What made me super happy was my 4yr old grandson. He is learning to use the phone ( his mum is a diabetic) and she is teaching him how to call for help if she needs it. He proudly called me to tell me about his new skill and say 'I love you nan' then hung up. Made my day, love you too Harry. - Posted from rhpmobile

Why do I feel like I'm cheating on my other guys, why do I feel unfaithful saying this fuck it, my day was amazing. Ex fb who I haven't seen in maybe 6 months or more, called and omg I missed him, I missed his cock and I missed his tongue. So bloody intense and passionate, full on and a pleaser, a giver. Kinky and dominant, just the way I like them. They are so hard to find, my door is always open when they want to return. Rushed home to shower and get ready, I was so horny. Few rounds with him and I'm very VERY relaxed. Don't leave it so long next time dude

We had a power issue over the last few days at our business.Called Powercore today ,told them the strange goings on with our power and they said they would look in to it.40 minutes later a tech guy turned up, did some testing and said he would be back with a cherry picker truck. They were back a few hours later and fixed the issue.Great service and a job well done. Mr Luvsilver

Mum finally wore her medals to an ANZAC Day ceremony, she only applied for them in the last twenty years and received her last one in the last year or so. She was taken to a ceremony in NZ and was the only WW2 veteran there. It was my privilege to represent both her husbands here in Australia. I only noticed one WW2 veteran at our local ceremony, the Vietnam Veterans numbers are thinning now and they're showing their age too.LEST WE FORGET

I found the missing half of my favourite pair of brown suede gloves with fur! Well... the fur bit's bald now because last year, a huge dog sniffed it as I walked past and decided to nip it, taking a huge chunk of fur off! 8-O !!! "Winter is coming" (G.O.T!!!) ... time to head to a haberdashery to get replacement fur and stitch it on. Now to find my missing pair of black gloves with fur. And... I had a good chuckle looking at some funny memes about G.O.T. (Game of Thrones) in Instagram. :D

After reading all the negative posts recently, I was disturbed. What happened to our warm and friendly community that is accepting of others, regardless of their ideosyncrasies. These forums seem to have denigrated into a childtens party where there is far too much sugar. Everyone is trigger happy and gunning down anyone that they see as not strictly aligned to their faction. WTF !!! Last night, I started raising a new post to attempt to provide a positive (only) thread that would bring a calm to this "shoot at anything that moves" hysteria. So, what pleases me today OP, is this thread. Thank you for doing what the need for sleep prevented me from doing. Well done. Happy days to ALL.

It make s me happy to make dinner for those who appreciate it. It makes me happy too. It's irrelevant that it's my job. I made braised lamb shanks today too, and they went down well...nearly all gone. I prepared them similar to how you describe...with the addition of a lamb stock from roast lamb the other day. Just a tip, if you don't already....seal and brown your shanks well before braising for better flavour. And LOTS of fresh garlic. It's getting chilly...gotta keep the immune system up .

I'm getting hungry, lamb shanks? Yummo. I'm making chicken soup today I've decided, need some hibernation food for the winter, freeze a heap, won't have to cook again for a few weeks at least. Factor in HJ's and subway here and there, fill in the spaces with soup and fruit and chocolate, good to go I am getting sick of tuna. I buy those little cans of John West Chili tuna when they're on sale. $1 a can this week so I bought 36

Yes thanks for the tip and I do seal my lamb shanks in olive oil and butter prior to slow cooking. I rub sweet paprika and some rock salt n. Pepper first so it gets absorbed on the skin. Adding a spring of rosemary in the mix with thyme and bay leaves seals the deal with a dash of chilli. I also fry my chorizo in paprika to give it an extra zing. Yummy. I'm hungry now. But it is early morning Sunday and am off for a brisk walk outside cloudy ☁ Melbourne. I touch,Q will gladly make slow cooked lambshanks for you ladies served with a merit and rustic baguette. Then finish it off with panacea with raspberry coulis with a dash of cherry kirsch. 😉 just bring your sense of humour and life stories. I touch, leave moby lick behind. No plus 1. 😁

...some slow cooked pork roast at home last week, then pulled it apart and froze it in portions. Not sure how I'll use it, but I had visions of pulled pork and gravy in a crusty baguette at the time. At work, I'll occasionally make Osso Bucco or pork and lamb meatballs braised in a tomato sauce...I'm a bit of a fan of braising, locking all the juices in the meat. And the excess sauce or stock is so tasty for other things...it makes the best gravy.. 😊

No plus 1. 😁 that was meant to read Merlot and panna cotta. hate typing on my phone. But yes Kool, i do seal the shanks in hot olive oil and butter. I also pre-rub paprika and rocksalt and pepper on the meat prior to sealing and sprinkle a fine coat of rice flour during the sealing process. this makes the gravy thicker. on the last 30mins of the slow cook, I add unsalted butter and rosemary sprigs (thanks neighbor!) to bring it all together and the butter just cuts down the titratable acidity of the tomatoes and wine. Good food, good wine, fine company (old and new friends) and great banter around a well set candlelit table makes a cosy and positive experience of those cold wet winter nights. Finish it off with mulled wine that everyone has a hand in making.... What more can one ask for?

He is of Cuban descent and love the mix of herbs and spices in tomato bases in his family's Osso Bucco. Nothing is more sexier than a man who can cook and feed his woman with great food and good wine. It helps that he is one hell of a sexy Latino who can dance a storm! I did tease him to be the only person I know who has double jointed hips when we dance the cuban salsa. 'Oi Caramba! Ayayay!!! Esta muy caliente aqui!!!' I too am a fan of em-braising... .

I love those little tins of tuna/salmon as an easy snack. For the last few years, I was working on Curis Island, Gladstone, with no food other than what you brought yourself. So 36 tins was nothing to me. If they were on special, I would buy dozens of all my favorites and have my bottom drawer full of them. 36 would only last me about 3 weeks.

When my wife and I separated and I started having to do all my own meals, our local IGA came to the rescue with heat and serve lamb shanks. It was great. 6 minutes in the microwave and hey prestro...fall off the bone lamb shanks, swimming in a red wine or mint sauce. The leftover sauce either went into a bowl of rice or over the doggies dry food. They liked lamb shank nights too.

My favourite became a salad that my ex used to do. We had it almost ever night. The main variance would be the accompaniment. Chicken, salmon, seasoned steak, etc. But the meat had to be cut small and sparingly distributed so that it didn't overpower the meal. As a single, I would make up enough for dinner and lunch the next day. Mmm mm. Every mouthful was just a flavor sensation...and so good for you. Anytime I went to a restaurant, I was always disappointed that it wasn't as good as my salad. But that's behind me now. I will wander off to the mess hall soon to see what is on tonights menu. I bet it is not as good as my salad. 😀😀😀

...food porn is just that, I reckon. Give me shanks, braised sausages and lamb chops, slow and low roasted pork that falls apart and crackling that is so crisp and salty that it takes an hour before my stomach tells me I'm overdosing on salt and fat and I shouldn't have picked at it so much while I was removing the netting.. 😊 ( todays story... ) I can resist sugar and sweets easily when I make them now...but give me salt and savoury....there is a god, and he/she cooks like a boss 😆.
